Ming Wah Chinese Restaurant

This place can't be checked by a food health inspector. I mean the food looks drawed up. I've seen a roach going around the dumplins and I've never going back! Then then they have the nerve to side eye someone, they're luckily anybody coming into that molded, depressing looking place! You go here, you must be desperate! 😆

After a long hot day on the road I just wanted a good sit down meal. I get in this restaurant and it turns out they have no air-conditioning at all just a couple old fans blowing hot air around. Turns out the old server just hollered at the other employees and the food was plain nasty. I left my food on the plate and covered it up, heck the flies didn't even want it. After my complaint they still charged me $13.75. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

The food seems not fresh it's like sitting there for a few hours. The noodles are dry, and the fried rice is too sticky.

We were headed home back to NC from a big weekend of riding and stopped to get gas and mentioned wanting to eat at a Chinese buffet. We got lucky any ming wah was on the same exit. The food was really good and they done really good at keeping our drinks full and used dishes out of the way. 5 stars !!!

Food looks like it was left over from lunch. Dried burnt rice on the bar. If and when they bring fresh food they just mix it up with the old food. If you want fresh food come during lunch.

Just no, trust me if you’re on I-20 just keep driving. Dilapidated building with nasty parking lot. The food that was actually on the bar and not empty was cold. Would not refill empty but kept saying they were. This place needs to be shut down!

The food is dry and taste less

Me and my family have been coming to ming wah for over 15 years. Staff is always amazing and friendly . and food is good. Ming wah is largest buffet in thomson with a great Variety to choose from.

This place is just freaking nasty as hell. The food was horrible. I have eaten frozen Chinese dinners that tasted better than everything they had available. Don’t waste your time or money and go to any other restaurant in the area. There’s plenty more to choose from trust me. Then again go ahead and try it yourself and try to tell me I’m wrong. The place needs a visit from the health department due to the unsanitary conditions. Just because these people are Chinese doesn’t necessarily mean they can cook.

The food was really good! The atmosphere was calm. There weren't a lot of food options, but overall it was all delicious. A nice little stop to eat while on a road trip.
