We were planning a safety week event for our construction crew and left the food until the last minute. With a week's notice, the wonderful ladies at Neal's were able to put together an amazing meal of ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and sides (not to mention delicious sweet tea!) for 30+ big eaters! Everyone was happy, and when we forgot to grab serving spoons on our way out there, Miss Neal herself was there for us and provided us with some large plastic serving spoons, which saved the day! It was great all around and we can't wait to get lunch from Neal's barbecue again!

I didn't go to Neal's BBQ on this day , I stopped at the tobacco shop next store, but I have eaten at Neal's BBQ many times and it's good ! I recommend it if you want BBQ in Thomson, it's the best in Thomson, but NORRIS BBQ IS BETTER IF YOU CAN GET TO WARRENTON AND OUT HWY 16. AND KNOW WHERE TO TURN TO GOTO MITCHELL GA. IT'S ABOUT 6 MILES AFTER YOU CROSS BRIDGE ON HWY. 16 AND TAKE 1ST LEFT HEADING TO MITCHELL HWY! AND IT'S WORTH IT !!!IT'S BEST BBQ IN CSRA AND ONLY HALCOMBS BBQ IN WHITE PLAINS ANDGREENSBORO IS SLIGHTLY BETTER! HOLCOMB'S BBQ IN WHITE PLAINS AND GREENSBORO ARE BEST BBQ IN GA. NORRIS BBQ IS 2ND,but is a fraction behind Halcoms BBQ! ALSO CROSSROADS BBQ BETWEEN WARRENTON AND GIBSON IS 3RD BUT COULD BE 2ND ALSO! THERE'S YOUR TOP 4 BBQ's

Tea was great. Hash and Mac n chs looked and tasted like leftovers. Staff were friendly. Chicken was maybe either leftovers or cooked too early and sat too long in a warmer. Definitely not fresh.

Neal's Bar-B-Que is a really great place to go to eat. It is run by my mother-in-law Lynn Neal. I'm not biased in my opinion because this is family, I'm simply stating the truth that this place is a wonderful place to eat and the food is awesome!! As a matter of fact I just got hash and rice plate with potato salad and pink lemonade. I don't go to Thomson too much but when I do I always want to stop by Neals to get something to eat. In the past I have recommended this to friends and coworkers and even former classmates. If you're in the mood to get a really good meal that will fill you up and still give you a large amount of leftovers then this is the place to go! Stop by sometime tell them Mack sent you!!

Grew up in the area and this is the best around. We were on a trip to visit Family and were so glad to find this place. Pork Sandwich was great and the price was right.

Good prices & HUGE portions! We got the rib and pulled pork dinners which were served with a large serving of hash, 2 sides, 3 pieces of bread, grits, & a drink. Ribs were served wet & pulled pork was moist. The coleslaw, pickles & potato salad were tangy…although the beans seemed straight out of the can. Also got a side of hush puppies which were very good. Loved the homey BBQ joint vibe & the staff were friendly & helpful.

Tried this place for the first time today. Sadly, this was the worst BBQ I have ever had. The chicken was unseasoned and dried out. The Hash was swimming in liquid with very little rice. The baked beans and green beans also had no seasoning. Disappointed I drove all the way down there. ?
