(1) there was no old bay or Cajun seasoning in the soup, so add it for God's SAKE!!!!!! (2) my god, you got all the free oyster liquor in the darn oysters that you fry or bake, use the darn liquor in the soup man. There was LITTLE TO NOOOOOOO LIQUOR IN THIS SOUP, NOOOOOO WONDER THE DARN SOUP HAD NO FLAVOR. easy to fix, put the darn liquor in there!!!!!!!! don't cost nothing, it comes with oysters people!!!!!!!!!!!!! USE IT, IT'S FLAAAAAVOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEWS FLASH, NEWS FLASH, ANYONE WHO ORDERS OYSTER STEW WANTS THAT OYSTER FLAVOR, HELLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. $13.99 for a bowl of flavorless FREAKIN oyster stew, we were super shocked and disappointed.

Kind of a hole in the wall with excellent food and service. A place where locals have been going for decades. We had the grouper and we were definitely members of the clean plate club. Portion was plenty for two of us. Don't miss the peach cobbler it was fantastic. Cobbler was served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I have to admit I was skeptical at first but, I ordered grilled grouper and was totally surprised at how good it was. Even my sides were good. After such a great meal my wife and I shared some peach cobbler with ice cream. It did not disappoint either. We were just passing through town and really weren’t expecting such good food. Bravo!

I was in town for work and visited here with a group of coworkers, one of whom highly recommended it. We ordered fried pickles, alligator tail, and fried sweet potatoes. The pickles and sweet potatoes were delicious. The alligator tail was fine. It could have used a bit more seasoning. For entrees we ordered grilled salmon, fried shrimp, grilled & fried flounder, and frog legs. We had an assortment of sides - baked potatoes, green beans, coleslaw slaw, salad. The potatoes were pretty good. The green beans could have used more seasoning. I didn't have coke slaw but the people who did said it was really good. All of the entrees were fine. I had grilled salmon but also tasted the frog legs and they were fine. Flaky like fish but not fishy tasting. They could have used more seasoning. My biggest issue with them was feeling like I had to work too hard for too little reward. Our server was very sweet and attentive. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and while I'm not sure I'd go back next time I'm in town, I'm glad I tried it.

A coworker had a childhood memory of going here with his Dad, so we decided to try it. Very unique place to say the least. I got the catfish fingers and they were delicious. He got the grouper. We both tried a piece of each others as well and the grouper was good. Service was attentive and very friendly. No liquor served here but they do have wine and some beers. I would probably go back if I was in the area.

Stopped with the family while traveling on a Saturday night and although they were pretty busy, we got seated right away and the food did not take long.
Our waitress was fantastic. Excellent service. Loved her accent too.
We tried the fried crab claws, grouper, catfish, and fried shrimp. It was all great. And would recommend it all.
If you are looking for a classic seafood place that knows what they are doing, this is it. We will be sure to stop here anytime we are in Tifton. A Plus.

I really enjoyed my visit to Charles Seafood. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The employee who took my Togo order provided great customer service. My order was ready fast. All of the meals I ordered were hot, fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the cheese grits. The food is very filling and very affordable.
