Five stars is not enough. Chicken Salad Chick deserves its own Hall of Fame, national holiday, and possibly a place in the Bible. I walked in expecting a simple sandwich, and what I got instead was a life-altering experience that I’m 90% sure cured my trust issues.
First off, the menu is wild. They’ve got more chicken salad flavors than a reality show has drama. I went with the Buffalo Barclay because if I’m eating chicken, it might as well punch me in the mouth with flavor—and boy, did it deliver. It was like a spicy little chicken angel karate-kicked my taste buds.
And the croissant? Don’t even get me started. It was so buttery and flaky that I briefly considered proposing to it. Honestly, I don’t know what kind of deal with the devil they made to get it this perfect, but I’m here for it.
Now, let’s talk sides. I got the grape salad because I thought, “How good can grapes even be?” Oh, sweet summer child. These weren’t just grapes—they were super grapes, coated in some kind of creamy ambrosia sent straight from the heavens. I wept. Like, actual tears.
The staff? Absolute gems. They were so nice I started wondering if I accidentally wandered into a family reunion. One of them called me “sweetheart,” and I’m not saying I’d die for her, but I’d probably take a light punch to the face.

Drain flies coming from the soda / tea station.
Couldn't relax and eat because they kept flying around our food.
I recommend soaking your soda and tea nozzles of a night in the following solution: (Mix soda water with ice, lemons, and salt.) Also run the metal grate that sits in your soda machine through the dishwasher at closing and run very hot water down the drain of the soda machine. Use either a quat sanitizer or bleach water solution in the soda machine catch.
This is a cleanliness issue. It will continue to get worse if you don't correct it now.

Awesome stop on the road. I am not sure if this is a new chain store, but it was a pleasant discovery ?. Stopped for gas and saw this location. It was clean and well lit, the staff was friendly and helpful, the food although not out of this world, it was fresh and tasty.
Nice, clean, cold, and delicious chicken salad. I recommend and I will come back . The server was a sweet girl with knowledge of them menu.

I even told her walking out that I really appreciated her being so nice with her country twang. Loved this stop off for gas and got a gem.
