The friend chicken was yummy but the sides that we tried, (rice and gravy, collard greens, cabbage, macaroni and cheese, field peas, and butter beans) had no seasoning. For a place called soul food, I have to admit we were expecting a lot more that's why we ordered a lot of sides to try, but we were disappointed. But again thr fried chicken was very good.

I was hungry for some good soul food; New n town; Boy was I very disappointed; I ordered Oxtails dat was reheated smell burnt fm like keep reheating fm 3wks ago; no meat on the bone all was n the dry rice; Mac & cheese was dry 2 the bone they wasn’t goin change it till u gt the last scoop ;collards greens was terrible no seasoning & 1 lil piece of burnt corn bread;food was salty wasn’t gd & potatoes pie was ok & pink lemonade had 2 much suga ;all for $24 definitely won’t recommend when n town & definitely won’t refer & last talking tip wen u gt ready 2 pay DEFINITELY NOT

Hidden gem in Tifton! Well worth the short drive off the interstate to eat real-deal Soul food. Fantastic corn pone served with meal. Generous portions and value for the money. Friendly, welcoming staff.

Wow, wow, wow! We were driving thru and didn't want fast food. Two miles off the interstate and our only regret is we don't live closer to this gem!
Staff was welcoming, accomodating, and genuine. The two of us ate for $25 and that included an abundance of food, drinks, and desserts. There wasn't a mediocre thing on our plates, everything was amazing! Reminds us of our Grandma's cooking and it's becoming harder to find.
Whether you're passing thru or live nearby, give this place a chance to fill your belly. I sure wish they could come cook in Jacksonville, FL!

Happen to come across this place on a visit to Tifton and oh my! Am I so glad I did , I loved the food it was perfect I had oxtails with yellow rice and a little gravy from the oxtails , butter beans and collards .... It was good ! The lady that made my plate was very nice and friendly... This is a must try and a must stop if passing by .... I would go out the way to eat here again

There is one employee that is very rude, disrespectful, attitudinal, and wants to do things her way instead of the way of the paying customer. Everyone else is friendly and professional.
