This was a great stop for lunch! Everyone in our party of 6 was very happy with their food. There was a lot of food in our orders and most of us couldn't finish because we were too full.

i recently visited the Pit Stop BBQ at 1112 8th St, in Tifton, GA. I have been going there several times over the years. I parked and walked into the building and I was greeted and promptly seated and my drink order taken. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich w the potato wedges which came timely. Always a good product. Go visit them.!

It's been really good in the past. Here lately the food quality has suffered. Today's order was overcooked by a long shot. The last time I ate here they screwed up my to-go order. So I sat waiting for 20 minutes for the wrong order. They did correct it but I had to wait another 20 minutes for the correct order. I will reevaluate the next time I visit.

don't let the full parking lot scare you - we got a seat quickly because this restaurant is huge. The pork sandwich was excellent, service is friendly and efficient, and we were glad we stopped

Convenient to UGA Tifton campus and good BBQ with a variety of sauce options. Pickles were horrible, but we don’t go to BBQ places for pickles. Food was good, clean atmosphere, but there’s something to be had for those hole in the wall BBQ places and this isn’t one of them.
