Visiting from Ohio. Met up with family. Great menu, large portions and fair pricing. This place was hoping with customers. Staff was friendly and made sure all was good. I would definitely recommend and visit this restaurant again when in the area.

A really good bbq experience, food was really good, beef was tender, and chopped pork was tender. The sides of potato salad and baked bean were really great tasting, except the cold slaw was too mayonnaise based, and bbq sauce was really also mild. Make it a must to visit, we will.

Used to visit this restaurant years ago and the food has changed. Turkey isn't smoked Turkey. It's deli meat style, no way it came from a fresh Turkey breast. The ribs still do not disappoint but it seems they have changed the food over the years.

Service was great, food was good. The place is bigger than it looks!
Eat Local when Traveling Through Tifton, GA.
Pit Stop BBQ & Grill was at the top of dinner considerations when planning our stay, So when it was recommended by hotel staff as a local favorite, we decided to check out the restaurant behind the website story. The atmosphere and food brought nostalgia for my PA hometown go-to family restaurant. We were welcomed upon entry and served by a seasoned wait staff. Enjoyed Homemade Ranch & Thousand Island Dressings, Grilled Fresh White Fish Seasoned w/ a Caribbean Kick, & Hush Puppies. The Grande Bowl of Brunswick Stew hit the Comfort Food Spot & kids had Roasted Chicken. Sweet Tea tasted fresh even as the restaurant was closing for the night. Loved the decor details and functional hutches routinely utilized by staff. We will stop again when traveling through Tifton, bring more family, and grab T-shirts & BBQ sauce. Also sooner in the day for a chance at the ribs before they sell out! :)

Our waitress was wonderful and the food was good. But sadly they charge 99¢ for water and also nickel and dime for extra sauces spoiling an otherwise positive experience. I’ve traveled in 30 countries and have NEVER been charged for water. I hope they reconsider this unfortunate practice.

Just left this place ! I ordered their pit wings and they came out fried ! In the online pic they are smoked wings …. I then asked for their smoked turkey breast and ordered it to go after she handed it to me she told me it was a deli smoked turkey breast that is a lunch meat …. Cold lunch meat … The menu is very deceiving and they need to Explain this on the menu
Everything on the menu is Incredible!

The Hostess as friendly and the food was good but the attitude of the waitress was horrible. I not sure if she was having a bad day or she didn’t like the melanin in or skin but she was rude the threw straw on the table was blunt with an attitude. I usually tip really well but I was hard press to leave any tip( I left one but way less then usual). Yes we tip but we don’t reward nasty behavior..

Restaurantji Recommends
The smoked chicken was bland but the fried wings were very good. The Mac was flavorless but not dry and the baked beans tasted right out of the can. They did answer the phone quickly and were polite. Just not a fan of the food aside from the the friend wings

Stopped here on a road trip. Gotta say my wife & I were very disappointed. Felt very judged walking in since my wife has green hair and I always wear shirts of haunted attractions. Food came out so fast it had to be sitting under heat lamps or some similar warming. Cole slaw was disgusting (color was completely off) and the pork was dry. French fries were some strange seasoned fries that would go better with roast beef or hamburgers not BBQ. My wife ordered a turkey sandwich which we thought would be smoked turkey... it was like your make at home cold deli sandwich. Not worth the money at all. Would recommend steering clear of this place.

This was a great stop for lunch! Everyone in our party of 6 was very happy with their food. There was a lot of food in our orders and most of us couldn't finish because we were too full.
