Kind of like enclosed produce stand with tables and chairs. Handwritten menu-no prices listed but $10.99 gets you meat & two sides and dessert. Several meat choices: fried chicken, hamburger steak, and two others. Wide vegetable choices. Between the two of us we had hamburger steak, hand cut fries, fried squash. Fried chicken, cornbread stuffing, pinkeye beans, fried okra, and banana pudding and homemade strawberry ice cream. All good, chicken very good, veggies good. Ice cream-yum! Banana pudding ok. Definitely worth a stop! Busy local place.

This is our new favorite place in Tifton. The food is hot when served! Never had anything bad there! There are usually several meats to choose from and tons of vegetables to choose from! Service is not the fastest BUT it is worth the wait!!! Highly recommend!!!

Always excellent customer service!! The lunch and dinner plates are always so filling and delicious!!! It is really convenient that you can call in your order and pick it up at the pick up window. You get a meat and 2 sides with a dessert or you can substitute the dessert for a third side. Their food taste is always hot and fresh and homemade daily! You will not be disappointed!

I almost never write reviews but after thinking about our experience at this spot for a while I felt I had to put a review here. We went about 10 miles out of our way to eat at Southern Pride based on the positive reviews. Maybe we came on an off day but I can say without a doubt the food was anything but fresh and homemade. The deserts were actually stale, the fries were cold and so greasy I couldn’t eat them and the meats were like those you get with a frozen dinner. I don’t know how it’s called a produce market because there was almost no fresh produce. In fact, the shelves were nearly bare, which was a huge disappointment because one of our reasons for going was to pick up fresh produce. The staff were nice, friendly and quick but other than that there wasn’t one positive thing I can say about our visit. We were beyond disappointed…..

I stopped by this place on my way to florida on oct 14 2022 i found it on trip advisor glad i stopped they have Great Food James and His mom Becky were such nice people to talk to people from the south are so freindly . the food was really good it is about 5 minutes from the interstate small place but worth the stop for great food . will stop here in the future going to florida thanks from steve K.
