Great place! My kids love this ice cream place, we don't stay down here but every time we come they want us to stop by.

Yellow Monkey might have decent froyo, but good luck ever getting any. They close at 6PM. Yes, you read that right — a frozen yogurt shop that shuts down before the sun even starts to set. Who are y’all serving? Retired grandmas and toddlers on field trips?

Most people don’t even think about dessert until after dinner, but Yellow Monkey apparently operates on a schedule from 1953. It’s like they actively don’t want customers. I showed up at 6:07 once — doors locked, lights off, staff already ghosted. You’d think they were hiding state secrets in there.

Running a froyo shop and closing before anyone actually wants froyo is wild. Imagine a pizza place that’s only open during breakfast. That’s the energy. Whoever came up with the hours either hates money or just really doesn’t like joy.

Until they figure out that people crave cold desserts at night, this place is a waste of a good location and decent yogurt.

Was dreaming about a nice cup of froyo to cool off after a long, hot day. Drove over with my taste buds READY… only to find Yellow Monkey closed at 6PM. Six. In the evening. Who eats frozen yogurt at noon?? Absolute betrayal. If you’re selling dessert, maybe stay open past dinner? Just a thought.

As someone who loves a good dessert, I'm genuinely frustrated and frankly, a bit baffled by the operational choices at this yogurt shop. I drove all the way over here on a Friday night, ready to treat myself and spend my money, only to find the doors locked and the lights off. At 6 p.m.! On a Friday!
It’s truly a head-scratcher. From a business perspective, this makes no sense. You're intentionally cutting off your peak hours. Friday evenings are prime time for dessert sales. People are getting off work, looking for something to do, and families are heading out for a treat. This is when you should be making the most money, not when you're turning customers away.
By closing at 6 p.m., you're not just losing my business for tonight; you're losing the business of countless others who came by after a long week. You're essentially telling your customers that your schedule is more important than their patronage. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's a fundamental misunderstanding of how a retail business, especially one in the food service industry, operates.
I don't know who is making these decisions, but they are leaving money on the table for themselves and keeping their customers from being able to spend money at their establishment. It's a lose-lose situation. I'd love to support a local business, but I can't support one that won't even be open when I, and everyone else, wants to shop there.
My advice to the owners: reconsider your hours. You're missing out on a huge opportunity, and you're alienating the very people who want to keep you in business. Open later, and watch your profits go up. Or, keep closing early and see your customers go elsewhere. The choice is yours, but for now, I'll be taking my Friday night dessert money to a place that actually wants it.

Large selection of toppings. Plenty of seating. Very clean. Wish they had a few more FY flavors. Overall great place.

Went in this afternoon for my boy a treat for having a good week at school. We met some friends there. Only one young guy working and it was pretty busy. Half of the seating area was closed per the employee. Which lead us to move our own chairs elsewhere to have enough seats for everyone to sit together. I understand the business closes at 6 but for me going in paying $14 for two ice creams and my fiend paying $25 for ice cream as paying customers we would like to sit together and not have to drag our own chairs elsewhere. We overlooked it and sat and ate our ice cream. Then the young man tells me “oh I was going to tell you we’re closed now.” While we were finishing up. The lady that owns this place is always super friendly and nice but we didn’t have a good experience there today. It just seemed as though he was ready to get out of there as soon as possible and that was the only thing on his mind. Probably won’t be back for a while.

I'm new in the area and lucked upon this joint while looking for a spot to work.

*Atmosphere and Decor is a lovely modern urban/country chic (my opinion). The exposed brick and woodwork inside are warm and inviting

* Customer service is excellent.

* Frozen yogurt - many choices. I recommend the watermelon and cheesecake.

A great froyo spot but it would be great if they had board games to play while we eat our dessert.
