i ordered takeout today and it’s old and absolutely disgusting. i can’t even bite through the Crab Rangoons, they taste rotten. the spring rolls are burnt and nothing in them barely. the meat is questionable for sure. i also ordered house fried rice and you can tell its super old, it has no good flavor whatsoever just taste like a fried egg.

Used to be a good spot. Food was terrible, tasted a day old and they where literally welding in the kitchen... Couldn't even finish the food.
I won’t do that again. Nothing was fresh and I order the chefs speciality. Sad

Won Starr. Lady that took the order was super awesome, food was exact opposite. Food definitely came out from under buffet line and safe to say it had been sitting for awhile. Egg rolls were hard as a rock, but still managed to have enough grease to star in a 1950s musical. And den

I have always loved eating here (takeout).
Love the food! However, the last couple times the quality seems to be slipping. I got an egg roll there and there was barely anything in the roll!! It was all the wrap/breading!! Very disappointing

So, I have been in the area for three years but never tried this because I have to be in a certain mood for takeout Chinese food (I don't get drunk, but this is perfect hangover food for most people).
After checking for authentic food items like Mapo Tofu or house made dumplings to test my theory of this being Amerinese food or not (standard Chinese food in America - check out the documentary, "Searching for General Tso's Chicken" to find out more about why most Chinese takeout restaurants have the same menu), I decided on a dish that tests sugar content and ingredient freshness and how plentiful.
As expected, the sauce was very sweet (to satisfy the American palate), and they didn't have more authentic Chinese dishes. You get a good portion which is what people want, sometimes more than authenticity.
PROs: the food was piping hot and plentiful. The mushrooms and pork were plentiful as well, which you would expect given the fish name, "Pork and Mushrooms". You won't be disappointed by quantity, even though the prices are higher than many. I love the old-school takeout container, and the modern container is great for reusing. The woman taking the order was extremely friendly and polite and was refreshing compared to many customer service people today.
CONs: Not a place for authentic Chinese food (not expected). Too sweet for me (I got mine extra spicy knowing it would likely be sweet). Pork, carrots, and pea pods were overcooked (maybe even pre-cooked before adding to the heat for final prep), and fried rice was dry (likely pre-cooked) but you could add it to the sauce, which softened it.
Overall, a great movie night or late night food that can be shared. The place is really set up for takeout, although they offer tables, but not with any thought to design, just tables to sit at. Inventory is visible at the front and stored behind cheap sellinh items of jewelry and trinquets, which is also standard in a lot of these type places I've been in. All in all, I wouldn't dissuade anyone from going here, as long as you adjust your expectations and know what to expect.
I'll go again but ask for "not sweet" and made fresh. Let me know your experience and whether you are a foodie or not.

So we come here a couple years ago and got some terrible service, and we felt like it was because we didn’t want the precooked buffet, HOWEVER We ordered off the menu and it was SO GOOD, well ONLY because the food was good we went back! Now time after time we get AMAZING FOOD, phenomenal service, and the price is fantastic for what you get. This is one of those diamond in the rough “hidden gem” kinda places. I highly recommend.

I walked in for the first time ever, a bit skeptical after seeing the sign for seafood boil. Having lived in Toccoa for two years, I had never given this place a chance. That was a huge mistake. We used to drive all the way to Oakwood or Buford for seafood, but now I can happily say we won't need to again.
This hidden gem, just five minutes away, served delicious seafood that was literally finger-licking good!
As a side note, I didn't expect the massive amount of food in the order. We ordered a large, anticipating a decent portion, but we were still surprised by the enormous platter they gave us. The potatoes were so tender, I almost mashed them!
