Hwy 17 Diner

The new owner has made a good place great, food and service. I recommend the "Hobo Hash" for breakfast but sub Philly cheesesteak for the protein and the eggs over medium. For lunch, the patty melt with swiss is my favorite. Every small town needs a good, old school diner, and we now have one that is legit! Keep up the great work Fernando!

I work across the street at the Chevy dealership and order breakfast here about 2-3 days a week. This place is great. If it is crowded, wait, it's worth the wait.

When we arrived here, my wife noticed the sign about being short staffed. Although it was a little concerning, we ventured in. This place was packed, and the entire staff from servers, to cooks, and everyone in between were hustling and making it happen! Everyone was doing what needed to be done, and helping each other when they could.
The service was great, and the food was great. To top it off, the restrooms were very clean, which usually are let go when staff is spread out. It was obvious someone made sure they were nice and clean, on top of keeping the customers served.
We both had the 2-egg breakfast. Eggs are eggs, and the hash browns were great. The kicker was the bacon and sausage, which were both excellent and cooked just right. Those two simple items can make or break a breakfast. We will definitely eat here again next time we are in town.

The food had no taste to it. I had the French toast, egg, bacon. The waiter was nice . Customers walking him and out to smoke and come back in.

My 1st time this morning 9-13-24 eating breakfast here, after my husband remembering how good it was years ago. After just getting off a 12hr shift & my husband working all night, I was not sure if I even wanted to go out. But we are so happy we went and will be back! The atmosphere was nice. Our server Fernando was very patient as we looked over the menu. He had a very kind demeanor and seemed to enjoy his job and customers and checked on us just enough (not too much/ not too lil).
The young lady waiting tables was r there to help if we needed anything. They worked as a great team! Even the young lady who took our payment was smiling and very nice. Obviously the cook was Amazing because we ordered two big meals and finished every bite. Best breakfast we have had anywhere in a while. ?❤️❤️❤️
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HWY17 breakfast wrap was Amazing and hot sauce was a perfect Xtra for it w/ OJ. And My husband had the HOBO breakfast platter, OJ & Coffee. Id recommend both. Lots of food (enough to take some home) but it tasted too good to not finish ?
