So, we stopped thinking about Pings when they no longer served beer or wine. It was very satisfying having a beer while sitting outside and enjoying the water, ducks and geese.
However, for lunch I asked a few friends if they'd like to try it and we were pleasantly surprised (I've been twice in the last week). The pics and descriptions should say it all...
I had a Patty Melt and asked for a medium-rare temp (There are few places who have staff to know how to cook to temp; see my other reviews). It came out very well. I also opted for the steamed broccoli and butter (diabetes type 1 prevents me from enjoying my fries), and it was hot and well cooked.
My couple friend had a turkey Reuben with fries and his wife fish and chips (opted for large onion rings). The portions were excellent and everyone was satisfied!
My other friend had chicken tenders platter and it also was tender and juicy and plentiful. He took some home.
All were satisfied and we'll be back.
Having been there twice in a week I noticed inconsistencies in food, in both cook temp and time, as well as portions. Same price but different portions (smaller portions were at dinner, surprisingly).
I do recommend you go, especially with Autumn weather coming soon! Enjoy!

Came with friends to celebrate a birthday. It was our first time visiting to find out your restaurant was closed. Please update your social media to prevent someone driving an hour to only need to find somewhere else to go.

Hostess was very friendly, the waitress was very friendly and efficient. The mushroom Swiss burgers were awesome. The meat was obviously fresh and a thick patty that you cannot get anywhere else. Very clean, in dining area and bathrooms. The view was so pretty. We walked on the boardwalk afterwards.

Saw this restaurant mentioned in Band of Brothers facebook page post. My husband was so excited to actually eat where those men were. We were going to go in the fall, which we still will, today was a rainy day let’s do something. There’s a walk way around the reservoir we couldn’t do because of the rain though. There is a patio area weather permitting that is dog friendly. The food was delicious. We had fried pickles as appetizer and Philly sandwiches with homemade onion rings. I had chicken my husband had steak both were great! Our waitress was very friendly.

Come hungry for delicious food with a wonderful water view. Great size potions, and friendly local staff. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Ok, now the burger, 1/2 lbs burger will fill you up multiple choices, and if you think that is not enouh get the "we dare you" which is 2 of those patties! Homemade onion rings if you like those. Great steak sandwich and fried shrimp. I have been here 4 times and have not been disappointed.

Three friends met for lunch and to catch up with each other. It was a rainy Thursday, and there were not many people having lunch. Our server was patient and kept checking in with us as it took a while for us to decide on our meal. The food was served all together and was beautifully presented. We had a 2 hour lunch, and we split the xhecks.
