Three drinks cost $48!?! Bartender obviously mistakenly put other people's drinks on our tab, but wouldn't admit his mistake.

Beware, pay only cash here.Just stopped in w a party of 3, my cousin her husband, and I. Have 1 round, start a tab, cash out my tab ~40 and it’s $48. i hit 20% w/o thinking too much about it, and then realized that’s a lot for 3 drinks.I asked the bartender and he said my party ordered more drinks. I checked w my party, and we each only had 1: $13 drink; $9 drink; $7 drink. So charged $48 for what best case should be $29, maybe plus tax. Then tipped 20% on top of the phantom drinks, and bartender refuses to believe.Come on man.

Favorite place. Great beer and a sort of community center. Always something going on.

We had my husband’s 50th birthday party at Blue Tarp/High Card last night. It was perfect! The space was ours for the private event. The management & staff were all great to work with, they even helped us decorate. They’ve been on our radar as a local brewery for a while, but it is a great space for events. Highly recommend!

What can I really say but the fact that I found another great brewery out here in the Atlanta area. I looked them up, and I knew I had to come by. If you look at my picture and cross reference with my review, I'm going to put each beer that I had in the picture and their % since they were all poured in order from left to right. These are all the beers that are currently on tap there. For the most part these were all some heavy hitters. Overall I enjoyed my experience, this is a good spot to check out. 1. "Caribbean Tief" Foreign Extra Stout 6.9%2. "Brain Juice" IPA with BBA Coffee 6.7%3. "Too-Ra-Loo-Rye-PA" Rye IPA 6.7%4. "PBJammin" PBJ Sandwich Beer 8%5. "Gourd Jus" Pumpkin Pie Ale 5.8%6. "Jingle Brew" Winter Warmer 6.4%7. "Vampires Kiss" Blood Orange Habanero Cider 5.5%8. "I am Groot" Habanero IPA 7.2%

Great place to checkout for some cool local brews. A locally owned micro brewery located in Downtown Tucker, GA. Serving beers along with small batch unique experimental. This is the same place as Blue Tarp Brewing. Actually they share the venue. Good people, good beer and good music. Alan and Tom, the co-owners of the space, are top-notch laid-back guys. They are also great brewers. Between High Card and Blue Tarp, there is something for everybody. Plenty of inventive styles and flavors, without the try hard vibe you may experience at other places.Bartender was really nice and friendly, and we felt welcomed. I loved the Key Lime IPA and also the White Queen which has one of the best tastes with a slightly spicy kick of habanero. Pricing is almost the same as any other breweries. This place is very casual and relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly, kid friendly, host music shows, art markets, and let girl scouts sell their cookies. There is plenty of free street parking available in front of the brewery. Definitely the place to go for great craft Brews, live music and all sorts of funky, inclusive, fun events. Can't get much more welcoming. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

Me and the missus both both ordered the Tucker IPA - took one sip, looked at each other and in tandem said “this is bad”. There was a metallic aftertaste and it was just funky- and not in a good way (you know, ‘dank’) we were being polite and didn’t return the beer. They need to work on their standard IPA form. Music at the venue was good - that kept us there.

This place is great. Tom & Alan, co-owners of the space, are top-notch laid-back guys. They are also great brewers! Between BlueTarp & High Card there is something for everybody. Plenty of inventive styles/flavors, without the try hard vibe you may experience at other places. I am obsessed with Bloodmoon, their beet beer. They are dog friendly, kid friendly, host music shows, art markets, and let girl scouts sell their cookies. Can't get much more welcoming.

We've been coming to High Card & Blue Tarp for about a year now. There isn't a better brewery around. Alan and Tom and passionate about creating interesting, delicious beer and equally passionate about building a place where people feel comfortable and welcome. They have been a wonderful addition to the downtown Tucker community! Cheers, gentlemen!

I had the Italian pilsner and thought it was good but not great. My wife had the apple cider and it was excellent. The bourbon finish added an extra kick. We also sampled one called "white queen" I think. The chocolate notes combined with the spicy finish were a pleasant surprise. This would be a good dessert beer after an autumn bon fire. Definitely recommend trying it. The owner was very cool.

High Card/BlueTarp Brewing is a great spot in downtown Tucker with a laid back vibe where you can relax, drink, engage in great conversation, and even catch some local music. If you haven't checked it out yet, it is worth your while. The taps rotate fairly regularly, so there is something new to try. They even have a delicious cider on tap - yum!
