Excellent food. The rice and beans are perfectly seasoned. As well as the steak. Service is prompt and efficient. You get a lot of food for a decent price. Highly recommend if you're looking for Cuban food.

The food quality was very enjoyable. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and while it didn't really taste like an authentic Cuban sandwich, the quality it self made up for it. The side of of rice and beans were very good and the plantains were the best part honestly. The staff were very friendly and accommodating when I told her my daughter's meal tasted too salty. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely look forward to another visit.

Wow! Hidden Gem. Lived here forever and just now found it. Authentic and flavorful. High quality taste on a budget price. Had the Cuban sandwich with yellow rice, black beans, and plantains. Everything exceeded my expectations, so I had to test their Flan too. It was perfect. Great Lunch! Stay A-Mazing!

Staffing needs improvement. I go during Sunday's events and you have to go to the bar to place an order if you want quicker service or attention. The space is not always clean, as staff walks by messes, like that of spilled sugar packets or napkins, ignored! Bar staff seems to have it together! Prefer to order at bar that deal with floor staff!

Chicago Steppers were great. I enjoyed it so much I am going to take classes to learn it. Thanks Tony for showing me a few steps.

Definitely one of the top Cuban restaurants in the entire Atlanta area. They even have Materva. Great flan. Heard it can be fun on the nights they have dancing but I haven't had a chance to make it for that yet.

It was ok...the food was partially good. But it was cold inside..it was a cold night out so being inside should not have been that cold...which made us eat quick so we could leave...sitting down eating a person needs to be comfortable..the place is big kind of like a warehouse so it should've been warned up..heated..

We didn't know this place existed until today. We were the only patrons there which was great lol. The food was delicious!! Our waiter was so sweet and attentive. Will definitely be back.

The mofongo was great and so were the drinks. I would not recommend the churrasco . The chimi sauce was not at all good. They do have a dance floor that opens at 7pm on the weekend.

This was a pleasant surprise. Great food, nice staff. My only complaint, they couldn't make my coffee due to machine not working and that was one of the reasons I went was for a cubano..but I would return

We paid Coco Cabana a visit for lunch on a Friday afternoon and were startled to find only one couple in the entire restaurant (who left shortly after we arrived). It looks like it gets much more activity at night, since it kinda looks like a club (i'm not sure if it is or not), but we decided since we were here, why not eat? We got the following: Cuban sandwich ($8.49) Sandwich Cubano de pavo ($8.49) Food came out shortly after we ordered and there were not a lot of wins here. So what went wrong during our visit? I'm glad you asked! The Sandwich cubano that we ordered comes with turkey, smoked ham, cheese, pickles and mustard. The sandwich hit the table without ham, without pickles and came with lettuce and tomato! Wait, what? We both looked at photos of the menu just to double check if we read the sandwich details wrong! When we looked the menu over, yep, we ended up having to request a few slices of ham to make the sandwich almost the cubano. The Cuban was constructed properly, but the roasted pork was dry and bland, and the sandwich was poorly put together. Every bite caused something to fall out of it, making it a very sloppy sammy to eat. It was also pretty weird that the bottom bread slice was soft while the top was toasted until it was wood plank hard. It's also worth pointing out that both of our sandwiches were not warm (and my girlfriend specifically answered "hot" when the server asked if she wanted the sandwich hot or cold). Whenever you buy a sandwich they will come with yellow rice, black beans and plantains. The best part of the meal for both of us were the black beans and rice. These were flavored well, both were nice and warm, and filling. The individual plantains were hit or miss. One was really nice, sweet and had that crispy surface I like. The other two seemed soggy. Customer service was pretty much not there. When we were seeking someone to ask about the ham omission, it took several minutes for someone to come back out to the main floor to even be asked about the ham. They were sorry, but with only two people dining, you'd expect it to be easy to cover those guests. Interior was much larger than we thought with a large amount of seats. You wont have problems finding a table. Parking is also not an issue, as coco cabana is part of a shared parking lot in the Northlake Festival shopping center. Close to I-285, it's easy to reach if you'd like a bite to eat, but as far as Cuban food is concerned, unless the chef was having an off day and we didn't get their best, i've definitely had better.

Nice environment. Food is Good, but as of recently, the quality seemed to have gone down a little. Still, its not a deal breaker. I love ordering their cuban

This place is really nice. We went on a Thursday evening and it was completely dead inside but...just the way I like it! We had a group of six people that had a good variety of food. Definitely would go back.
