We were super excited to find a restaurant with classic Nepali items on their menu - momo, sekuwa, and choela. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to excitement. Portion sizes on the sekuwa and choela are small for the price, and instead of being served with their traditional accompaniments as shown on the pictures uploaded to google by the owner, each arrived with half a raw onion and obviously frozen naan. All three items were also too heavily and oddly spiced. Like why...
The food was absolutely incredible. Everything seemed to be made in house from scratch to order. We had Chicken Tikka Masala and Chawmin. The Tikka was so flavourful and better than most Indian restaurants in town. The Chawmin was a fresh and spicy stir fry with lots of aromatics.
This new restaurant was empty when I arrived so I was worried, but I was so surprised. The chicken tikka masala was the best I’ve had. It was a little too good, mainly because it was loaded with ghee but I mopped up every bit with my naan.It’s in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The place was as clean as a new restaurant could be.
