The 'greedy' owner absolutely 'refuses' to upgrade/brighten this ancient building, and bring it up to the 21st century!! I took my 95 year old mother to that store in 2013, and not one item has changed or improved. Even though I am a very nostalgic person, I still enjoy eateries that show they 'care' about their customers, by keeping the business clean, and not have 50 year old tables and chairs that are on their 'last leg!' C'mon Owner! The restaurant needs NEW flooring, NEW tables, NEW benches, NEW menus, NEW lighting, NEWly painted parking lot surface and white lines.
It even smells 'old' and decrepit. You're located in an upper middle class neighborhood, and you've made billions off of these residents!

The best thing in the restaurant the day we were there, was the 5 Star ***** waiter, who was young, handsome and very experienced, with long dreds, from NY. He went over and above for us, and was happily compensated.
He needs an immediate raise, if he's still employed there.. Shemal I think is his name. He 'made my day!'

David deserves a raise. He is the reason I eat at this IHOP. He is charismatic, funny, professional, and the start to my morning with his witty conversation. He is supportive of the community and he has such a big heart for understanding other people's life moments. Also Lacie, Casey, Eddie, and Ron are a pleasure to interact with at IHOP. I will recommend anyone to come and experience the food, service, and atmosphere.

I always sit in the area on the side of the bathrooms. This area is often serviced by a lady named Frances. Even though she appears to have a leg or hip problem she doesn’t let that stop her. She is always so kind, courteous and professional. She greets us with a smile and a warm hello. If you are ordering she listens to you particular ways you want your food and keeps it all in her memory. My quiet go to spot. It’s under new management and definitely on the rise.

I had an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience at this IHOP location on Lavista Rd, Tucker, GA around 2:00 PM. I ordered a Steak Omelette, and to my disgust, I found a long black hair embedded in my food.
When I informed the manager on duty, who was stepping in for the acting manager, he was completely unprofessional, refused to take accountability, and would not comp the omelette—despite the clear food contamination issue. Even worse, he refused to provide his name and only gave me the number for the General Manager, who was not on-site at the time.
My server was kind enough to ask if there was anything she could do, and I requested to exchange the omelette for a simple plate of steak bites instead. However, I was still charged for the contaminated meal, which is absolutely unacceptable.
Food safety violations like this should be taken seriously, yet the management at this location failed to follow basic food safety standards and treated me as if this was a minor inconvenience rather than a major health concern.
Customers should never be expected to pay for a meal that is contaminated. This location needs serious retraining on food safety, sanitation, and professional customer service. I will be escalating this complaint to corporate and the local health department to ensure other customers do not have the same unsanitary and unprofessional experience.
I do NOT recommend this IHOP, and I will not be returning.
I enjoyed the new avocado burger 🍔 and the avocados were fresh!!
