Food is fresh and good. The place looks shabby but the food is not. Ive always had a good experence here and sad to say the owner passed and the son is selling the property to a bank. This place has many great years of great memories too bad it cant stay open for the loyal customers.
I hear this place is closing this year. It can't! My family comes from out of town to come here. We travel all of the way from Pittsburgh. How many soul food buffets do you know of? None! This restaurant must stay open! The prices are affordable and could actually go up more, the food is good, and the customer service is good. I'd love to see this place in a nicer building, with more space. A can see Kacey's having a chain of restaurants.
Well I guess this will be the last time that I eat here. I haven't been in a while and so was surprised by the $16+ charge. There are several other better places for less that I could have gone to for less. I see why at 12pm the dinning area is bare. The food has always been just OK, like most restaurants these days. $16+, really? At 12pm?
