A lovely cafeteria, upgraded from the former S& S at Embry Hills. The servers were very attentive and gave large portions. I had delicious catfish, beets, collards, and a slice of sweet potato pie. I think there may have been fewer options for salads than I remember at the older establishment. I did not see any specials offered for reduced prices, but I have poor vision and may have missed seeing it. It is a nice dining experience with ease in getting around for people who use a cane or walker. We will go back!

Made reservations for Thanksgiving with confirmation number only to be told that it was a computer glitch. Stood in line. Afterwards was treated wonderful by manager/owner. Server was horrible only checked twice on us.

Taylsha at the cafeteria line check out very much rude…. Very much unpleasant. Her co work even had to correct her for not simply saying please while she was asking to be handed something. When I told her she was being rude she struggled her shoulder …. The struggling of the shoulders is what got this review will follow up with manger

It’s difficult to find establishments these days that understand the importance of good customer service, but this place is an exception. They provide outstanding service as well as food. Others need to take a page out of their play book.

Parking: Occasionally, parking can be an issue. There are other businesses in the complex and due to the restaurant’s popularity and time of day pdays parking can become an issue

This restaurant is actually the old S&S from Chamblee Tucker. I’ve been eating these recipes literally all my life! I try to get in at least once a week, country steak, rice and gravy, turnips and fried okra are my go to faves. I always get the congealed salad too, I would call it Jello but it’s so much more than that!!
