Best cheesecake I've ever had. Crinkle cut tallow fries with Old Bay were decent, but tasted like frozen fries... okay, but not spectacular. Pasta salad was very good, definitely getting that again next time. Great spot, friendly staff. 10/10. do

Nicky’s IS Undefeated! No other restaurant on the planet have prices this high. We paid $70 for 2 foot long subs and a side of pasta salad. The sandwiches were decent, pasta salad not so much. IMO the prices are ridiculous.
Response to rude owner. I wish we had kept the receipt as proof! i have absolutely no reason to lie about the price we were charged for sandwiches! What you need to do is train your staff on how NOT TO OVERCHARGE CUSTOMERS! AGAIN! THE $70 + WE WERE CHARGED WAS RIDICULOUS! I COULD CARE LESS HOW MUCH MEAT GOES ON YOUR SANDWHICHES! I SAID WHAT I SAID! AND I MEANT EVERY WORD! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN ! AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO DO THE SAME!

I wanted to like this place so bad. The decor was nice. The Philly just was not good. I’m sorry but it was terrible. Meat super tough, no seasoning. It tasted like they cooked the meat, and just threw it on the bread. I definitely won’t be back. I been going to WEEYUMS in the village of Stone Mountain for years, and that’s why I always just stick with going there. Haven’t found a Philly place better than WEEYUMS yet.

Incredible!!!!!! Convinced the bad reviews are from Cowboys fans. Let’s be real, come here for a Philly cheese expecting a real Philly cheese, you’ll be extremely satisfied

The food was great! Probably the closest thing you’ll get to a real Philly cheesesteak and authentic water ice. I wouldn’t recommend the chicken cheesesteak though — they use big chunks of chicken instead of chopping it up like in Philly. The pizza was okay, nothing special.

I really wanted to like this spot and had high expectations especially from reading all the positive reviews and an ATL magazine top new restaurants in ATL. However the food was really very average/mediocre at best. The pizza was thin crust style and had decent flavor and my wife enjoyed her hot dog but the hoagie bread was absolutely horrible…dry crusty stale and obviously sitting out for days…Had to send the sandwich back only to get another crusty piece of cold bread… Would have preferred a Publix sub. 😒 The fries are fine and again average and seem like same bagged frozen fries at Shake Shack. The decor was the best part and felt like a cool NE vibe with all the vintage Philly wall art/perapernalia. Unfortunately not in a rush to come back.

This place is amazing! Italian hoagie on point! Philly cheesesteak was like the one I had a couple weeks ago in Philly! Even had a pretzel that they make at a bakery in Philly then they flash freeze them and send it down here. You guys gotta try this place!!

Let’s start w some background- I grew up outside of Philly, so I have had a couple cheesesteaks and hoagies.

Walking in - even without the Super Bowl winning Eagles flags, Flyers and Sixers gear it has the feel of a hometown / mom and pop cheesesteak joint. You can see the flattop / grill wit onions and steaks being grilled, the “back” of the house.
Back home typically no chairs / booths, get your food and get out.

Nicky’s has tables and booths so it has a come in and soak up some Philly. The small bar / counter is a good idea allows for quick seat.

Menu is spot on - allows you to order how you want, but also provides some great “suggestions” and yes if you just don’t know - order Founders special.

We ordered a small Italian hoagie and small cheesesteak fries (old bay seasoning).

Knocked both out of the park. The rolls nice crunch on the outside, soft inside. The steak high quality no gristle, onions grilled not killed. The cooper sharp creamy melted - not so much that the steaks and onions are lost.

The hoagie, a solid Italian - decent deli meat, Shredded lettuce, tomato and onions. Plenty of salt pepper and oregano. Next time I’ll get heavy oil and vinegar- I like that bite.

We will definitely be back, Nicky’s makes me feel like being back home.

This is absolutely the best place in Georgia for cheesesteaks!!! So good! I'm so glad someone recommended this place to me.
The sandwich was amazing and the fries were perfect. I've been back multiple times and it's still the best!
