Today was our first visit. I have passed by for a long time and wondered if the pizza was good. They were listed on the Peachtree Corners magazine top 10 pizza joints in North Metro recently so we decided to give it a try. The food and service was amazing. We had the spaghetti squash salad and two specialty pizzas. Matt was attentive, available but not overbearing. We will definitely be back and have our next pizza choices already selected. Let me begin by saying our server Emily was terrific, super friendly and efficient and the only reason for 3 stars; otherwise, I'd give it a 2 at best. And I'm not a pizza connoisseur by any means. But the pizza was mediocre at best. It was not very hot, the crust had zero flavor, and when my dining partner picked up the first piece ALL the toppings from the supreme pizza slid right off onto his plate. Love Shortys thin crust/wood fired. Nice diverse kids menu for picky eaters. DON'T plan on taking home as Shorty's never re-heats well, so order smaller enough to eat there, share, or walk away from; that's just the nature of thin crust pizza with good toppings.
