This used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant, but the food and especially the service has declined steadily over the past 12-months. Not sure what's going on or if it has anything to to wirh COVID but it's noticeable and happeni6 more often. We're actually looking @ other Mexican restaurants now. That used to be blasphemous (to us). We loved this restaurant...we've eaten at this place for years now.

I was really surprised by this place, usually when you go to a Mexican restaurant out in some rural community, you don't necessarily expect much. But this place really had a lot of interesting dishes and the food is really good. I'll definitely be back.

First, it took forever to answer the phone to place a to go order. Someone answered the phone but never said anything for a couple of minutes. They were short and sounded like it was a bother.Second, I have never ordered from here before so I had some questions about the menu, again it sounded like he was bothered. Placed my order and went to pick it up, again very unfriendly.Third, got my order home and I don't know what I got, but it wasn't what I ordered, not even close. Order was a taco, burrito and quesadilla with some chips and salsa and a drink. I got chips which were stale and cold salsa. I did get a taco, if you want to call it that, it was so soggy you couldn't eat it. The other stuff in a plate looked like someone had thrown up in a plate and put a lid on it. I couldn't eaten it if I wanted to, NO plastic ware or napkins. Never got my drink and when I mentioned it before I left, the guy just shrugged it off. This is the WORST place I have ever been to. DO NOT patronize this business. It needs to close.

Rice was under cooked, chicken was cold, and service was poor. I received no drink refills during my meal. I was highly unsatisfied with my wish to say the least.

Super great food, Large portion of your order they do serve the food hot and steaming with their respective garnishment.The best I have tried. El Maguey great Authentic Mexican Cuisine.

Placed a togo order. When I arrived cashier/owner was video chatting. On my togo drink all I got was mainly ice. It was a 32 oz but only had about 6 oz. Of actual liquid. Health score at the time was an 80.
