It seems odd to give such a high rating to a Waffle House, given that it's a Waffle House; however this location has the most wonderful line cook that works in the evening. She is always smiling and singing and welcoming and even chats with the customers. Her gracious personality seems to infuse the entire restaurant and it's reflected in the wait staff's demeanor. I drive past another Waffle House for several miles to eat at this one. This particular store has a great vibe in the evening. Check it out some day!

Went in with my husband and small child around 11:30 ish at night on 12/27 to get some late night food. Sat down and there was one other table. When the waitress Karen(care bear) finally came she took the order and went to call it out. Over heard her tell the cook to reheat chicken that had already previously been cooked for someone else but changed their mind, didn’t receive drinks for over 20 minutes. She messed my order up twice, served me sweet tea that she said had coffee porn over into it and gave my husband coffee asked if he wanted creamer and didn’t return until she dropped a check off. She stayed at the other end of the bar with two Togo orders and a table with a group of guys. At this point I shouldn’t have even been charged for anything but the waffle my son ate! Will never come back here ever again.

Usually this place is good but today was different. We pulled up and the cook was standing outside in the front smoking a cigarette. He came in knocked on the bathroom door for the other worker. I never saw him wash his hands. He proceeded to take our order and started touching the pots. We decided to leave at that point. As we were leaving the other worker came out of the bathroom tucking his shirt into his pants. It was just a turn off
