My family and I use to eat there all the time. We stopped when Covid hit in 2020. Dined in on Saturday Dec 13th and wasn't aware they add gratuity on your check for 4 adults and 3 kids. We didn't have a problem with it until my daughter went up to the counter to order food to go. The server then kept her ticket and added that order to the ticket for a bigger tip. Long story short they had to call the owner to get permission to take it off. The server then made a comment and said they're mad because they got to pay gratuity. I lit into her and told her she should have kept her comment to herself, even if she thought that. You don't make a comment like that in front of the customer. Should have gotten my tip back. Won't be dining in again if she's the server.

So so disappointed with Corner Cafe. Everyone needs to stop patronizing them. I was banned! Listen to this!….
I’ve been going there over 23 years and haven’had issues. New owner, CJ, took over and we still visited to support and give him a chance. The food was never the problem.

One evening, my guy wiped his mouth and dropped napkin in the cup as normal when we were done.. Napkin had ben sitting on table and I see a roach fall out! Let the owner know… not to get anything free:. Literally a “hey bro just so you know conversation.” He was cool with us so he apologized and talked about how there’s been a roach problem. We told him we weren’t trying to get anything free.

Next time we went, he’d pulled the video and had it saved on his phone and said I PLACED THE ROACH in the cup and can’t come back or order.he asked how we would do this to him. He got into a yelling argument with my guy and said never to come back: You can’t make this stuff up.

So I’m going around with roaches in my pocket? For what benefit?

This place has taken a complete nose dive! I’ve been patronizing this place for years- way before the new management. The fries are getting worst & worst…. The wings are sooo small that I’m questioning the source of the meat. The only thing that is the same is the wing sauce & blue cheese! $14 for a 10pc combo to be disappointed is NUTS! I’m done

Serious roach problem

At around 9pm on 10/15/25 my husband and I just left from ordering about $50 worth of food combined. I been having severe leg problems and sat down. When my husband sat down for us to eat a quick bite before leaving. I was driving and haven’t ate all day. We were asked to leave the establishment in front of everyone. Embarrassed was an understatement, another customer even approach the guy and asked him why he was making us leave and he told him other people sit and leave it nasty. That had nothing to do with us. You took our money and made us leave. The funny thing is my husband was on the phone with our four kids asking what they wanted from there before we come home , they were about to get about another $100 from us. Sometimes you have to watch how you treat people. I sent my sister last week, now they have lost about 10 customers because of your lack of customer service to two. If you’re reading this and want to see how the atmosphere is. Here you go !! I’m also a business owner , I will NEVER take my clients money then asked them to leave … NEVER!!!!!!
