We went to this restaurant last Sunday. The food was cold. The chicken was old and prepared many days earlier. The dressing was watery, and the cobbler was cold without any fruit therein, as was the banana pudding. And the price for this mess was prohibitive!! Too bad we didn't stick to Fried Tomato. We'll know next time. There the food is always fresh and hot.
Always a throwback to a "Sunday" meal, prepared with love (and a good biscuit).

This is by far the worst "soul food" I've had in 10 years of being in Georgia. It's glory days are behind it. It's a no and I'll never be back for me and my family, party of 14.
The lady who came to collect payment, very nice, said this is "the healthiest food you will eat as we cook with herbs, garlic and olive oil we don't cook with pork"..ma'am - ugh, I am accustom to eating both healthy AND good food most the time WITHOUT pork!
I grew up with SOUL food and am VERY keen on how to make food taste good WHILE considering health.

Omg THIS PLACE is extremely overrated and over hyped❗️❗️❗️ I’m from North Florida and our southern food taste nothing like this!!!! 100 times better❗️❗️❗️❗️ I was amazed at the high ratings on the food. The customer service is the only thing that gets 5 stars. I’m upset because I still had to pay for that horrible food after they noticed I didn’t even eat anything but my cornbread. I’m highly disappointed. I wish I would’ve followed my first mind and went to Fried Tomato Buffet in Newnan GA where the collards are delicious tender and flavorful and normal size chicken not fried turkey wings they’re calling chicken ok I’m done.
Green Manor is always good for the money ? and they always have food coming out hot ?

Bright and sunny in the sun room with the buffet and homemade yeast rolls. They have fried chicken everyday and four other meat choices which change daily. Sweet tea and beverage is included. $22.00. Homemade banana pudding and cakes. Apple cobbler. Great salads with fresh fruit. Good turnip greens,macaroni and cheese homemade. Corn, black eyed peas, carrots and mashed potatoes and more. Monday- Friday lunch and on Sundays open until 5pm. Take a tour around the outside has a beautiful garden and old historic trees. They have been serving lunch for 31 years. The restrooms for the ladies is the purple photo. Pretty and clean. They have events there and weddings too.
Parking: A historic site in Union worth seeing.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. The restaurant is definitely dated. There is a way that you can keep the original decor and ambience, but update the design. This place takes you back to the early 1800’s. It’s as though no one thought to have anything restored. The paint was chipped on the outside, the wallpaper needs to be cleaned, and hardware on the wood needs to either be replaced or restored. Overall, we had a good time but I think the owners need to put some of the resources into restoration efforts.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options.
Parking: There was parking but it was really tight. If anyone is wheelchair bound or on crutches, you need to let them out on the side of the restaurant first. The parking lot is not leveled.
Kid-friendliness: You can take kids but most of the people that I saw in there were in their 60’s and up.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible but I don’t know how a wheelchair can fit into the restaurant once you get in.
