We went to this restaurant last Sunday. The food was cold. The chicken was old and prepared many days earlier. The dressing was watery, and the cobbler was cold without any fruit therein, as was the banana pudding. And the price for this mess was prohibitive!! Too bad we didn't stick to Fried Tomato. We'll know next time. There the food is always fresh and hot.

Always a throwback to a "Sunday" meal, prepared with love (and a good biscuit).

Attended a 60th class reunion. Food was excellent and the staff was very attentive.

This is by far the worst "soul food" I've had in 10 years of being in Georgia. It's glory days are behind it. It's a no and I'll never be back for me and my family, party of 14.
The lady who came to collect payment, very nice, said this is "the healthiest food you will eat as we cook with herbs, garlic and olive oil we don't cook with pork"..ma'am - ugh, I am accustom to eating both healthy AND good food most the time WITHOUT pork!
I grew up with SOUL food and am VERY keen on how to make food taste good WHILE considering health.

Omg THIS PLACE is extremely overrated and over hyped❗️❗️❗️ I’m from North Florida and our southern food taste nothing like this!!!! 100 times better❗️❗️❗️❗️ I was amazed at the high ratings on the food. The customer service is the only thing that gets 5 stars. I’m upset because I still had to pay for that horrible food after they noticed I didn’t even eat anything but my cornbread. I’m highly disappointed. I wish I would’ve followed my first mind and went to Fried Tomato Buffet in Newnan GA where the collards are delicious tender and flavorful and normal size chicken not fried turkey wings they’re calling chicken ok I’m done.
