While I have never had a problem with their sushi, it's quite delicious, the hibachi food has fallen off. Yesterday, I ordered the shrimp and steak hibachi with less rice and more vegetables, plus broccoli. Everything was severely overcooked. Hibachi vegetables are usually squash/zucchini, carrots, onions, mushrooms, etc. What I received was a pile off soggy cabbage with a few carrot slivers. The steak was tough and flavorless. The fried rice did not have any egg included. Nothing was seasoned and did not taste like a hibachi meal. I would go back for the sushi, but definitely not the hibachi.

I ordered food for a friend of mine And he said it was horrible. He stated that it tasted tainted. I originally ordered the chicken noodle thinking it was some type of soup with chicken and noodles. When he received it, it was lo mein. I spoke to one of the employees over the phone and he said that he had spoken to the owner about putting up more photos on the website so that people could see what the actual food looks like. The Employee even stated that the business was losing customers. I’m sorry I did not look at some of the other reviews prior to ordering food from this restaurant. Do not waste your money. The Employee said that I could have returned the food and got a refund. My friend threw the food into the garbage. It amazes me how these places can stay in business With the poor service that they are offering.

The bomb rice. Great service ***EDITED*** I don’t know if they have new owners but the rice and lo mein was disgusting. So sad. Used to be some of the best rice in Union City. Won’t be back

I’ve been coming here for a few years as it’s right up the street from my job. The gentleman now running the cash register is extremely rude. I asked a simple question about the current specials they have and he told me to read the sign and read the menu as if I was a child. A simple clarifying question that I had was met with a short, rude, and condescending answer. I almost left my food right on the counter but I was very hungry. I paid and told him I hope his day gets better! You should have someone else with more customer service experience representing your brand. I won’t be back for awhile if ever. He left a bad taste in my mouth and I ended up throwing my plate away from how disgusted I was at the treatment I was given. Please do better and reconsider who is representing the face of your business

Wasnt expecting such a small place, but those can be some of the best. Got the daily deal of 3 regular rolls (philly, eel-avo, spicy-tuna) for 14.99, and added a seaweed salad. $23 after tax well spent it was perfect for me and mom to share. Really wanted to give a full 5star but the wakame was a little too salty, spicy tuna had no spicy sauce(added sriracha at home), but all the rolls were more than decent. The guy at the register was nice so I asked about tip. There wasn't even a tip option like real japan lol! Not many good sushi options in the area, but this IS one.👍

The plate was small they don’t fill it to the top like they used to. I got hibachi shrimp and chicken it was bland with fried rice. The rice was bland and not even fried it didn’t have any onions or egg in it they are scamming people for $15.
My go to place for sushi. Never let me down on my Philadelphia roll. Always delicious and quick. Tastes as good as if I got it at one of those fancy sit down places for way cheaper.
