I visited Kountry Kafe two mornings in a row, and while the food itself was good, the service left me feeling very unwelcome.
On my first visit, my waitress seemed a bit standoffish, but I was served without incident. On my second visit, I arrived just ahead of another couple. The waitress told me I could sit anywhere, but after that, she never returned to my table. She walked past me multiple times, took dishes to the back, served other customers water, and then brought silverware, napkins, and menus to the couple who came in after me. She greeted them warmly, but never once acknowledged me again.
Unfortunately, this experience made it clear that not everyone is treated the same here. While the food may be decent, service and hospitality are just as important, and I left feeling that I was not welcome.

Stopped in because of good reviews and have to say, they're not wrong!
The food was just like my Mom and Grandmaw made, but probably better (I don't think Mom will see this). Pancakes are griddled perfectly and barely smaller than the plate itself.
Service was attentive and friendly, but not too much. Just like you would expect in a place packed with locals.

Been here a few times. Each time the attitudes SUCK, not super friendly for a small town restaurant. The food is good, but we won’t be back due to the nasty attitudes! If you hate your job, your face 100% shows it!

The only thing that was not great, was the time it took to get the food. We were there for 2 hours. We were on vacation, so we were OK with it, but others left..food was great, and plenty of it. They may have been shorthanded. Servers were wonderful.🥰

Waited 30 minutes and paid 8 dollar for this. Two dollar store sausages and some watered down grits. Not a bit of flavor. Just would not recommend.

Been here twice, first time was great but a little wait. Our food was very good. We just went to try it again and ended up leaving because we waited OVER an hour for our food and didn’t even get our food. Everyone around us had their food and they came in and were seated AFTER us. Kind of disappointed.
Great food and atmosphere. Coming up from Florida we feel like a taste of South Georgia.

Ordered JUST an omelette to go.. waited there for 20~ minutes and put the order in and waited for a total of 30~ minutes and finally felt that enough was enough and left. Had I known it would take that long for a simple omelette, I would’ve went elsewhere. Please staff accordingly in order to meet the demand, thank you.

In town for work and wanted something besides hotel breakfast, definitely made the right choice. Food was really good with awesome portion sizes. Waitress was very attentive to everyone. I will definitely be back.
