We love this restaurant enough to drive over an hour one way to eat here. The breakfast bar on Thursday nights is our favorite, but all are good. The staff is very friendly, whether on the phone or in the restaurant. Both food and service are great. It has become our favorite restaurant! (Bonus! The peach cobbler is amazing!). I hope they never lose their southern country charm and wonderful food.
We used to travel from up North for a Family gathering in Vidalia every year. Shoney’s’ was a place we enjoyed going to because they had an amazing seafood bar for lunch. We were very excited to get back there. To be fair, it has been 20 years ago. Well it's not that way any longer. Lunch was very specific with limited choices. It was all you can eat but there was just fried chicken wings for a protein. I must mention the host and servers were very friendly and accommodating!
The best part about this place was the server she did everything she could to make our day, we had a party of 4 so I'm sure she had her hands full, but we tipped her very nicely, I know the fried chicken is always good, and so is the greens, I was a little spontaneous today and I got some banana pudding and it wasn't too bad I give this restaurant four stars.
