Absolutely amazing lunch, and just an amazing server (Misty). First time I had been here in about 20 years. Definitely won't be that long before coming again. I had the Broccoli cheese soup with salad bar, delicious. My daughter had the Alpine Whiskey Burger. Her expression with the first bite looked like the heavens opened and all God's angels started singing!! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

The salad bar was nothing but lettuce potato salad and noodle salad with some vegetables and shredded cheese. The chicken breasts I ordered was tough and dry, no flavor except for the mushrooms and what melted cheese was stuck to it. Did not enjoy. Mozzarella sticks tasted kind of bland. Mixed drinks were about the best part of the meal.
If you’re looking for a truly memorable dining experience, Steeplechase Grille and Tavern is an absolute must-visit. Every meal I’ve had here has been nothing short of exceptional I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad one. It’s well worth the drive, no matter where you’re coming from.
The service is consistently top-notch. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel like a valued guest, providing the perfect balance of professionalism and genuine hospitality.
One of the highlights for me is their self-serve salad bar. It’s always fresh, well-stocked, and offers a wide variety of delicious options that could easily stand as a meal on its own.
As for the main course the steak at Steeplechase is truly something special. In fact, it’s one of the best, if not the best, steaks I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection, and full of flavor in every bite.
If you’re craving a meal that’s consistently outstanding in both taste and service, Steeplechase Grille and Tavern should be at the top of your list.

Went for the first time and sat in the restaurant. Food was ok on average for Vidalia (none of the restaurants in the area are good to great). Service was good and atmosphere decent. May check out the bar are if we decide to go back. I just wish the restaurants in the area would actually step their game up from sub par Italian at Rialto to basic food from this joint it seems that owners know they have a captive audience so why bother excelling. Even that place in lions prime cut is mediocre at best because while the food is good it is over priced for the portion size. Restaurants in general in Vidalia are lacking and this is no exception.
