I have a special needs child who loves coming to the treehouse. They have our drinks ready as soon as they see us waiting outside( we get there early) they cater to our child’s “special” wants like a certain colored spoon. They give hugs, and call her by name. She collects rocks and they even saved her rock she left behind til the next time we went to eat there . It’s the little things that matter so much the food is always hot and delicious. Atmosphere is always family friendly and the staff is just absolutely amazing .

Great little restaurant nestled in the trees. Great food, great service, wonderful atmosphere! We found a real hidden Gem in an otherwise small little town. A+++

Used to be the best, when Michael owned it. After 7 years of goin’ twice a week, I’ll never be back. Service has gone, they don’t know anyone who comes in anymore. Maybe one day they’ll be back to normal, until then the business is fading.
Wish I could put a negative review. Management dosent give a flip about the place and would rather walk around drinking and acting like they are running for governor than care about customers. Food takes forever and since the og owner sold it the new owners skimped out on product and food is terrible.
I came in recently with friends. The girl who served us was young with black hair she was very rude, not friendly few of my friends also mentioned her not being friendly. We watched her serve two under age boys alcoholic beverages. We know they are underage because one of my friends is their school teacher. Not professional
was seated for 20 minutes people coming in behind us was getting waited on an we still didn't get any service from anyone we walked out and told the staff they never said sorry or anything I don't recommend this place it's a waste of time to come here we're so disappointed couldn't even get a glass of water this place is a joke

The Tree House in Vidalia is one of those places that sticks with you. The vibe alone makes it unforgettable, but what really sets it apart is the people. The owner, Dan, is a complete legend, friendly, welcoming, and the kind of guy who makes you feel like you’ve been a regular for years.
After last year’s hurricane, the bar had to be rebuilt, but you’d never know it. The staff and regulars give this place a heart and energy that can’t be knocked down.
The food is outstanding, the onion petals and shrimp tacos are absolute must-tries, and of course, the beer is ice cold, just the way it should be.
Whether you’re local or just passing through, The Tree House is worth the stop.

We wanted to give this place another chance so we ate there last night. The girl that took our order never returned. Our order took a long time to arrive but that was not a real issue. Ordering drinks was a matter of having to stop another waitress who wasn’t our server. When my order arrived the side I ordered was not on my plate. When I asked about the side I was told they were out of that side item. They never bothered to come to the table and let us know they were out of that side item. We ordered a salad and asked for the salad to come before the meal. That didn’t happen. When I paid for the meal I asked about the side and was told they ran out. When I ask why they didn’t let us know so a substitute side could be ordered, I was told that the salad was put in as the substitute. When I explained we ordered the salad as an extra side the lady told me they have no way of knowing when the kitchen runs out of an item on the menu. My response was “maybe you should communicate with your kitchen instead of standing around talking to people behind the bar along with her daughter”. This place was once a fair place to eat, the new ownership is horrible and the food is pathetic. I love to see a $47 ribeye steak served on a paper plate. Not my order but the table next to us. The Prime Rib was always. Good choice, now it’s twice the price and 100% less quality than when the last owner was there. The two standing around behind the bar running the register and continuously talking with customers not working or serving should be ashamed. The real servers were running to cover the customers. When we left the owner said “come again”. No thanks!
Excellent food and service
Gave me and my family food poisoning. I can’t believe how bad this experience was honestly. The food server rolled her eyes at me and said “I’m not your waitress” when I asked her a question (the server was nowhere to be found for like 20 minutes .)
It took us an hour and some change to get our food and when we got it, it was horrible. The prices are way too high for the quality of food we received. The prime rib on the sandwiches were extremely fatty and greasy. The fries had no salt on them whatsoever. The sweet tea tasted like chemical syrup. It really was just bad . I hated it, will never ever eat here again , and today, I will be laid up in bed with food poisoning so that’s great.
