Dockside Marina Restaurant & Bar

This restaurant is the best it’s ever been, new craft menu, remodeled , new furniture , clean great atmosphere! If you haven’t been, you need to check it out. 10/10 🔥

Í actually give a 4.5. We recently stayed at the Wyndham property near the Dockside Marina. Í read the reviews of the restaurant and was skeptical. Í must say the food was good and reasonably priced. The service was excellant. We will definitely be eating at the Dockside Marina Restaurant the next time we go to the Fairfield Plantation.

Please do not even try to make reservations here.. would give a 0 star if I could.

Made reservations for dinner here since the food, view, and pictures looked good online. Once we arrived, no one would seat us from the host stand so we asked if we just go seat ourselves and one of the waitresses said yes. We went and got seated to not be even given menus and took 15 mins to even get asked for drinks… luckily the view is what kept us waiting. The waitress finally came and we ordered drinks. Didn’t bring any menus? So we asked if we could get the menus which seemed like the end of the world for the girl.. she brought them and we didn’t see her again for another 15 minutes. Along with 2 other tables near us complaining about the same issue!! We had to call her over to just pay for the drinks and go since we can’t get an order in it seems like and then as we’re leaving we addressed the manager about the issues and he honestly could care less about it. Our waitress standing there then tells us in order to get service we needed to call her over every single time?? I’ve waitressed before myself and I’m pretty sure it’s your job to be attentive to your tables without calling you over every single time. Highly don’t recommend wasting your time :)

Not a good experience. Server acted like she didn't care about about my mother's food allergies when she was asking questions when ordering. Later said she was just busy and she did care but just didn't really have time. She didn't come back to check on us once received the food. Honestly felt like walking out.

Have been wanting to try this place because it looked so pretty and it’s close to us. Finally had a date night. The table was very dirty. It had food all over it and liquids and there was trash all below it. The sauces on the table were super crusty and looked like they had not been cleaned in years. We asked the server if she wouldn’t mind cleaning the table for us. She proceeded to pick up all the trash off the floor with her bare hands and then wiped the table and touched our menus and silverware. The flies were out of hand. They put out a fan to try and keep the flies away. I almost ate a fly. The food was decent but how dirty everything was, it worries me what the kitchen looks like so we just got really basic food. The view is so nice and this restaurant has so much potential but in need of some dire TLC. I would come back to maybe have a drink and see the band but wouldn’t be eating there again. It’s more like a dive bar.

Walking in wasn’t inviting at all. Getting a table was easy but getting menus or a server took 25min. Atmosphere was okay but very outdated. Band wasn’t good.. Food was NOT good or worth the price. Sampler was “okay”, Chk Nachos tasted freezer burnt and queso was chalky. Asked for a side of fries with queso and was given a bowl of fries with bacon and shredded cheese melted on top… Expressed this to the server and was told “I’m Sorry” but I guess 5 points for saying it with a smile after our experience thus far. She was genuinely cool though no complaints to her! Dockside should really consider updating their presentation and food! especially for outsiders. And hire more servers!

Way too expensive... But I guess you're paying for the views/atmosphere. Sunsets here are amazing. Also kinda annoying to have to call yourself in to get let through a fake security deal.. then they always spell your name wrong andnits an issue... my thing is they're not actually protecting anything, just there for show and the HOA fees, any real threat to the neighborhood isn't gonna go through that main gate.. it's not preventing anything.. it's probably already within or could just cross in any wooded backyard of hundreds of thousands of exposed acreage into the neighborhood... Which is very obvious on google maps. Just people with HOA money paying for false security... Especially considering the restaurants will let ANYONE in with a phone call. Just some Barney Fife stuff. The Gaurd shack is nice and friendly, no issues with them honestly, just an issue with it not being logical.. it's not serving any actual purpose at all, except costing Dockside and Clubhouse business. Good place, just really high... on everything.. even their "cheap" beers and chips and salsa are expensive. I know all restaurants have went up, but some of their appetizers are wild for the prices. Still go here and still highly recommend for views/sunsets alone... but call the restaurant first and ask to come so they can then call Barney at the gate so Barney can feel important and "let" you in... Even though any real criminal threat could and would just walk right through the woods of any property line of this neighborhood.. literally anywhere but this gate. It's fake security... The only thing they're securing is HOA fees. The residents should wise up and ask questions.

ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES!!!!!! This place is absolutely disgusting! Food is served cold and hard. The meat taste like if it sits out all night. Also their health score is an F!!! Are you kidding me?? That says enough in itself. I also received food poisoning from their pizza. DO NOT eat here…

Outdoor seating with lake views. Perfect for sunset views. The lobster dog was excellent. Alcoholic drinks were subpar but affordable. The servers and host were not very knowledgeable on the music events or food. We enjoyed the live performance of cover music.
