Friendly folks! Good food. Casual dining. We ate outside because it was a beautiful day. Indoor area was dark. My party was passing through the area on a Sunday and stopped for lunch. We had looked at the menu on Google and was disappointed to find that the menu was limited on Sunday. Just be aware.

I really wanted to like this place. Maybe it was just us but I didn’t feel welcomed at all. It was a very weird vibe. As we waited several moments to even be acknowledged and we waited an hour for them to tell us our food was ready at the counter.

I believe the owners are the ones who operate the business, they are extremely welcoming and the locals we talked to while waiting for our lunch were very pleasant. We would definitely recommend this Dinner, you will not be disappointed.

If you want comfort food, your search is over! I had whiting, fries, slaw and hush puppies. Off the chain delicious. Cliff brought us out samples of collards, pintos and cream corn. Absolutely delicious. If you're camping in Calhoun Falls State Park or just want a really good home cooked meal with family, this is your place. I'll be driving back down here soon for a Soul Food Sunday meal.

We celebrated a life lived to 90 yrs young. Brother Earl Wright suggested we repass at this phenomenal restaurant. Can I tell you this was the best soul food I've eaten. The Chef gets a gold star! The staff was everything and then some. They were attentive and had the most positive aura one could hope for. I can't wait to visit this great restaurant again.

Service is very nice, I asked for a salad with grilled shrimp, so fresh and tasty; also we had a bourbon wing, top rated.

Recommended dishes: Fries, Cheeseburger

We stopped in last night for the first time and couldn't been happier. The food was plentiful and delicious. What really stood out was the customer service and being made to feel like we were with family. Thank y'all so much for being such a blessing to our family last night and we can't wait to come visit again.

Oooooooweeeeee!!!!! Listen! Definitely worth the drive to eat at Ain't It Guud Cafe . Peach pineapple BBQ ribs smoked to perfection! Fried chicken and the best fixins ever eaten from a restaurant. Straight home cooking from the heart.
