We stopped in tonight on our way out of town for my birthday. I've been wanting to give it a try but it's a good drive from Augusta so we've been waiting to stop in. I'm so glad we did. My husband and I split the ribeye steak dinner, it comes with two sides. You'll see from the pictures that the servings sizes are massive here. The steak was seasoned well and didn't need any steak sauce. My daughter gives the adult grilled cheese and tomato bisque a 10/10. The hubster ordered the pistachio on the rocks drink and it was really delicious. The old fashioned was exactly what I wanted and expected - airing perfectly with the ribeye steak.

The front door was humorously low, thought that was funny when I entered the house. Greeted with a welcome, and seen the place was clean and great atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and food was great. Waitress was very nice and food came out hot and delicious. Highly recommend.

Back to Maddy's Public House! Team trivia was as blast to watch and the food is just flat out delicious. Whether you go to hang out and have a glass of beer (or wine or MEAD) or go for dinner of fine McTeir beef, Maddy's is our favorite spot to go!

Great place. Service was good but the food was on point. We had the fish and chips, fried green tomatoes, burger and fries, adult grilled cheese, child’s grilled cheese and not pictured, the Irish nachos with beer cheese.

Very understaffed. We were a party of 13 -- I had called 2 days in advance, so they knew we were coming. The server was very sweet but seemed totally overwhelmed. Several orders incorrect. Food took a LONG time to come out. By the time the last of our party was served, the first people's food was cold.

Don't miss this place if you're staying at the hotel; loved the atmosphere and the quick service, the staff are attentive and quick to provide, and the food is amazing: I recommend the beef short ribs, best I've ever had!

This was a pleasant surprise. The fried things on the menu are especially good, the beer is cold, and the local clientele are pleasant. It's worth a stop for sure. Nothing fancy, but there's nothing wrong with that.
