Washington Food Market

I've had BBQ from this place for many years. I live out of town and I have never had any BBQ as good as Washington Food Market! The Brunswick stew is amazing! I've tried some from other restaurants and they do not compare to the stew here. Their other items are great as well.

The best food you're going to find! Always served hot and fresh. Service is friendly and welcoming. Very nice family. We try to go every weekend, even though we live in another county. It's that good!! Large portions, unbeatable price for the quality.

Best BBQ anywhere! I would put it against anyone's BBQ. I recommend the ribs, but you can't go wrong with anything.

You will take a trip back to a charming simpler time when you enter Washington Food Market for takeout. From the owners to everyone waiting in line for their orders, you will experience the best hospitality. This NC girl will happily say it’s the BEST BBQ you will ever eat!! Their coleslaw and pecan cobbler are musts as well! We ordered oysters, shrimp, crawfish, and sausage for the 4th. All were fresh and fantastic! An absolute gem of a restaurant. Our first stop when we are in town!

Family owned generational business that provides service beyond any expectations. Bbq Sammie and hash are the most finger lickin, lip smakin, mouth waterin, tender lovin, so good it makes you wanna smack your mamma in the mouth for not taking you before you had teeth. The vinegar based bbq sauce is a family treasured recipe- always grab a bottle to take home.

Such a fun GEM in Wilkes County! THE BEST STEW in the world. Hands down my favorite. Great bbq, ribs, sides, all served with good ole southern hospitality.
