Came here based on family recommendation. They were right-not much else for 30 miles so it’s the only place they could recommend because it was the only place they found within a 45 min drive of their location.
First off, Washington is in the middle of the GA grasslands, especially if you are camping at AH Stephens state park, which although the park is right next to I20, is even more remote. It’s a 30 drive between the 2 places.
This is a bar that serves bar food. Wings are ok, redeemed by original sauces like PB&J and bourbon bacon. They were crispy but wings like this can be found anywhere. Ok but not great enough to come back again.
It was 94 degrees outside and all the ac vents seemed pointed at the bar. 2 stars for atmosphere. Needless to say, we ate and got out of there as soon as we could.
Waitress apologized because they were out of 2 common sides-how hard is it to run to Ingles market for cabbage for coleslaw? Ingles is 5 minutes away. But she was attentive to our table., bringing refills for beverages and water.
Tap beer was happy hour priced at $3. But no break on glasses of wine.
If you get stranded in the area, try this place but don’t expect anything special. It a bar that serves bar food.

Heard about this place through word of mouth. We stopped in for lunch and loved the place immediately. It’s a chill place to grab some food and a drink and everyone is extremely friendly. Everyone from the servers to the owner were super welcoming and made the place feel so comfortable. The food was killer and the fries were perfect! Definitely swing in and check them out if you are nearby.

7/11/25 - First visit. We were in Washington looking around and found this place. Decided to give it a try and have lunch. Glad we did. Service was great. Best chicken tenders and onion rings ever. Would drive from Hephzibah again just to eat here. Owner was very polite and welcoming. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had been told about this place and how good the patty melt was so we went last Saturday for lunch and got the patty melt and it was not good it was Great!!! Hands down the best patty melt we’ve ever had and we’ve tried plenty. Customer service was excellent and atmosphere was perfect. Met the owner and his wife and they were so nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be going back! Hands down I give this place an overall 10 out of 10!!! You will not be disappointed!!!
