“We have been to G Brand BBQ several times. Each time has been a sure joy. The food has always been excellent and the staff super friendly! We have tried many BBQ places in the area, and G Brand BBQ has become our go-to-place without question. We thought the prices were reasonable and not at all out of line. This is especially true considering how generous the servings sizes are. I give it 5 stars plus and two thumbs up! Try it! You will be glad you did!!“

“I attended their Crawfish Festival today. From the day I bought my ticket to spending the day with them today Chris and his staff did an excellent job. I felt like family amongst them. “In February of 2025, Dawg Gone Good BBQ catered a wedding that I coordinated at the UGA Botanical Gardens. The food was AMAZING!! The owner and staff were friendly, professional, and a joy to work with! I’d give 20 stars if I could!! On another note…they have a restaurant in downtown Athens near my husband’s office so it’s very close!! I can go there and get their food often!!“

“I can’t vouch for the BBQ brisket but as a thirty year resident of Central Texas they have righteous breakfast tacos. BBQ setup looked legit and smelled amazing. I did a u-turn and tried it based on that alone. The chorizo was amazing.“

Try as many different sides as you can and be prepared to share! The fried pork skins made fresh on site were unbelievable and immediately took our Puerto Rican friend back to his childhood! I know, no matter which dining facility I go to, that the food will be freaking awesome, the staff will be friendly and answer any questions I may have (and repeat it since I have hearing issues). “Food and customer service were good. However, I’ve been to many KBBQ spots, even in cities smaller than Athens, and they all offered more options. This place is definitely the most expensive with the fewest choices. The all-you-can-eat is around $35. I understand it’s the only KBBQ spot in the area, which I’m assuming is why it’s so pricey despite having fewer options than a typical all you can eat KBBQ.“

“I am not a fan of corporate BBQ.....but I do enjoy theirs. The people are friendly and the food is the same. The ribs were juicy and tender, the pulled pork (my personal favorite) is always a good choice. I am from the south but my taste buds are all over the place, I like a spicy sauce and a mustard base here you can make that happen.“
