I tried Chops and Hops years ago soon after it opened. I thought it was a nice place, but the food was "Ok". I came back here recently for an event I was invited to. There was a prefix menu and I got a sirloin, as it was the only steak offered because our large party had the limited selection. It was the best sirloin I've ever had and the Brussel sprouts were about as good as I've had as well. I can't wait to come back and try the ribeye! They have obviously strove for excellence rather than coast on their success. This establishment probably had enough going for it to prevail this long anyway, but it appears they weren't satisfied with being adequate and wanted to be better. I will definitely be back.

A very shallow menu. Fish on the menu was out when we got there at 7:00. A Cesar salad was delivered without dressing. Only 3 other tables in the place. The bartender and wattress were very nice but lacked training. I will not go back and it appeared.many have made that same decision.

We had never been here but my wife received a gift card so we decided to go for our 3rd wedding anniversary. We made reservations and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. We had money left on our card so we returned a week later and it was just as good as the first time. We highly recommended it.

Really nice place and welcoming staff. We were seated immediately and our drink order was taken quickly. Drinks were brought out and the iron horse is fantastic! We then waited 22 minutes for our order to be taken while our server was dealing with two separate complaints from other patrons whose steaks were cooked incorrectly. Finally ordered and food came out quickly but unfortunately, the steaks were overcooked and very tough. They had great flavor but the NY strips had huge pieces of fat left on the ends and the sirloin was extremely tough. Green beans were very firm and some were cool as if they hadn’t been cooked thoroughly. Very disappointing visit and food experience for the prices charged here.
