Warm and friendly service. Absolutely delicious food, whether you’re looking for “American style” Mexican food or more authentic cuisine. Even the decor on the walls is beautiful! 10 out of 10 in every aspect. These hard-working folks definitely deserve the support of our community!

An authentic Mexican breakfast place with drive-thru and sit-down option that I wished I had tried sooner. Their Chilaquiles Express breakfast entree is awesome and their verde sauce is perfection. Definitely will be back!

this was my first time at la laguna, and i was so impressed! down to the amazing and kind service, the quick and hot food, and the flavorful meals- we couldn’t have asked for anything better. they do karaoke every other fridays- i highly recommend checking them out! thanks miguel & staff for an amazing night❤️

The server was pretty rude. It was a take out order for five people worth $95 but when we asked for extra napkins and chips they said they can’t give us extra they need to charge us for extra chips. Both the servers were very rude to us while we asked for chips and napkins because we asked both of them. In my opinion they could have done better and shouldn’t be so rude. Couldn’t get the name of them but there were only two servers who were dealing the customers. It happened all at lunch time today (05/19/2025) around 12:30 pm.

La Laguna Mexican Restaurant: Fun, fast, food inside, outside, or to-go.
Very clean and lovely decorations. My son found this place while we were going to the Watkinsville area just outside of Athens. It offers a drive-thru window, but inside it's lovely. I'm impressed by how nice and clean they keep the restrooms and in general. I tried a Mexicano style chicken taco that was delicious (on a corn tortilla with cilantro and fresh chopped white onions)! (They also have American style tacos on flour tortillas with lettuce and cheese).Plus, I ordered their Fajita Bowl with all three meats to try (chicken, steak, and shrimp). My son helped me eat my bowl. Everything was nice and fresh. The only item that was not my favorite was the rice-it was good, just not great. My son loved it though. They have ample parking, an outdoor covered patio in front for people with dogs that's lovely. It's conveniently located (next door to a Waffle House) on 441 (Macon Highway). It has an upscale fastfood vibe. They're still waiting for their liquor license for future visits. It serves breakfast items also in a hurry.

Food is fantastic. I got a birria torta that was amazing. I loved that the bread was less heavy as compared to other tortas around town....and they have pupusas!
