I was super excited to try it after seeing the 4.5 star review but I was highly disappointed. It took us nearly a 15 minutes to see a waiter after being rudely bumped into by a man who may of been the owner in a rush to seat us. The beef in all of our dishes were burnt and our nachos were super dry. Just overall a let down.

Great spot in Watkinsville! The chicken tinga empanadas meal was delicious! The Cuban sandwich is more than enough food for two people. Especially once you've had the usual fill of chips, salsa & queso paired with margaritas. Meal prices were beyond reasonable. I will come back again & again to kick off my Friday's on the back patio!

Haven't been there in a while, but the food has always been very good. Yesterday's lunch was as good as previous visits (Tinga Torta and chicken empanada), but none of the staff were wearing masks - very disappointing. Probably won't be going back.

Life changing sandwiches, I recommend the Mexican sandwich with chicken specifically. Great family owned restaurant with friendly staff. Margs are great. Avocado salsa is a nice touch. Definitely check this place out!

What a gem! This place doesn't look like much, but that is deceiving. The food is awesome, and the staff is great. Everything is fresh and delicious. Don't miss the maduros, plantains. I can't wait to go back!

The Athens area has some great Mexican and Central/South American cuisine, and this place definitely is another addition to that list. The food was incredibly flavorful and authentic. Also the pastor empanada was one of the best empanadas I have ever had. Service was great! The owner's son was very friendly and gave some good suggestions from the menu. Would HIGHLY recommend this place!

It's the hidden secret of the OC. Do yourself a favor- on soccer/baseball/movie night, call ahead and order the empanadas to go. Get two of each one. Tinga (chicken in sauce), barbacoa, asada are especially good. They have recently upgraded the bar, though, and it's a nice place to have a drink and watch a soccer game. Go Uraguay! Staff is really friendly. If you have a sweet tooth, ask the staff what they recommend. Everything is amazing. And it's a local business!
