Love this place! The food is outstanding and always so fresh! I highly recommend the meatloaf, chicken tenders, and all the veggies. Most of all don’t forget dessert……The classic chocolate cake and almond raspberry cake are a must have! Keep up the great work!

We were visiting small towns near Athens and happened to be in Watkinsville at lunchtime. My husband loves southern cooking so we chose Rachel's and we were not disappointed. Rachel's is a family-run restaurant that employs local high school and college kids as servers, and their service was the friendliest we have ever encountered. Rachel's has different proteins offered each day, along with your typical Southern sides. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. The complimentary corn bread is delicious as well. My husband had the hamburger steak with onions and brown gravy and he pronounced it delicious, too. Portions are large and the service is the best anywhere. Rachel is almost always at the restaurant, which is such a nice touch. The restaurant is very clean and inviting, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. If we are in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Y’ALL. This is the BEST place to find comfort food, visit with friends and enjoy some home cooked southern favorites. Think Cracker Barrel but with a small town vibe. Cafeteria style with amazing servers and atmosphere. Stop in for lunch or dinner only and choose your meat and 3 or veggie plate from an extensive list of choices! Will definitely be back!
Absolutely the best country food! It's so popular that there is usually a crowd, but it's worth the wait and that's coming from someone who doesn't like to wait! Lol
