Staff was courteous and service was fast. However, I chose not to finish my meal because it was not good. Dad always said, "you can tell a lot about a Mexican restaurant from the salsa." This salsa was like watered down ketchup with mild jalapeños thrown in for authenticity.The kids gave the 'icky' face and did not finish half of their meals.So disappointed... still looking for a 'go-to' Mexican Restaurant close to home,

Placed a to-go order. Server asked me if I wanted a receipt before knowing total. I quickly said no. Ended up being $8 more (approx) than pricing on menu. Ordered fajita nachos & chicken tortilla soup ……. $29 later (after $3 tip (obviously before I got my food)). The nachos BARELY had any queso (I had to look back at the menu online to make sure I wasn’t crazy & nachos came with cheese lol), and had more onion than chicken. And soup came with a SPRINKLE of shredded cheese on the side w/ TWO small slices of avocado! This place must be hurting for money & cutting corners in every way possible! Ridiculous. Will not be back. Ever.

My experience is based on South western US Mexican restaurants. My first experience at this restaurant. I have visited a lot of restaurants in the greater Athens area. We visited for a late lunch. We ordered the combo plates. Excellent food, delivered fresh and hot to our table. Chips were great, not too thin, not too thick; salsa was ok, spicy, but plain. Enchilada was great and taco-ok. Chile relleno was excellent, large and filled with cheese. Definitely plan to return to try other menu items.Parking: Afternoons good. Evenings might be challenging, depending upon night of the week.

The staff was very friendly & professional but, I have to say the food was Exceptionally HORRIBLE! I couldn't eat my food it was so bad. A waste of my money!!! Even the chips were Not that great; meaning they weren't fresh & they were hard. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant. I'll NEVER eat here again.

I can’t stand Mexican food so I went here against my will. Wait time was ridiculous and the food didn’t even look good. The parking is the worst part. Idk who designed the building this place is in but they clearly were a D student because the layout is beyond awful. Do yourself a favor and go find a good Italian restaurant or at least somewhere with some parking.
