I guess I'm from the old school, When ordering A chill steak has always been a burger with chili, today.. No chili steak.. but two chili dogs.. .. the order was also short a MKO dog.. Just Saying.. But will be back.. I did ask at window did they understand the order.. He said Yes!!!!
FINALLY got to go to the Varsity in Watkinsville!! Been waiting a long time I was residing in New Jersey for the last 31 years so my trips home were few and far between. Had been missing my Varsity Fix for years since the one closed on Broad St. Was pleasantly surprised by the service and food quality!! I ordered the 2 Chilli-Cheese Dogs and an order of Rangs!! Lol. The taste was Spot On and just how I remembered it. Kudos đź‘Ź!!!!
I know it’s not the “old varsity” in Athens, but geez , could be a little closer to tasting like it. Dogs were mediocre, fries tasted like they were cooked in grease that was old. Service was good. Received food fast. Just disappointed in the taste and especially the price.
