It was ok, not great, just ok. Served it's purpose as a buffet with a selection. The steaks were cooked to death, close to jerky consistency. Shrimp boil was pretty flavorless.
Service was good, and she kept my cup filled, but the food was mediocre. Most of the sides came right out of a can. The fried chicken was not hot, and a bit dry. The chicken livers were the same. All of the deserts were generic. I wouldn't come back.
I heard my mother talking about this place so we had to stop by and check it out. They had what I call an “eating on the church grounds spread”, because there was a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. Every “lotta bit” (LOL) that I ate was down right tasty.
