Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Went to Cracker Barrel this past Friday. Waitress was awesome. She did a great job and the food was good.However was not pleased with the taking off of some of the items on the menu especially the MAPLE BACON CHICKEN. Please bring back the item.

Went to Cracker Barrel on Sunday Service was ok ( had a new waitress first day on floor on her own she did her best) but the Mgr Frank was exceptional he made everything right he went above and beyond to make our experience great and he do just that Thanks again to Frank for being en awesome Mgr.

I was very disappointed in my food. Biscuits were burnt and hard as a rock. I asked for different ones and was told that was all they had. Then my chicken and dumplings tasted like a salt shaker. I couldn’t eat it. Ordered some pancakes instead and it took over 25 minutes. We almost left as my dad was already done eating. Just a note. I always order the chicken and dumplings and have never had that experience before.

The kids got their food 20 minutes before the adults so we didn't eat all at the same time. No utensils were given with the food so we had to wave down another waitress. Our waitress barely came to the table

I just love this place. If you want country cooking at its best, this is the way to go. Also, their store is it's just a multitude of great sweets and many, many gifts for all ages. A lot of their candy takes me back to the penny candy store I used to go to when I was younger. I go there just to go shopping in their store. Anyone who's not been there should check it out if you want a great gift for anybody that's the place to go. Right now, they're showing stuff for halloween, and it's unique.

I’m always a fan of Cracker Barrel and have visited quite a few locations. This particular spot is definitely a busy one—likely because it’s in a small town with limited options.

We placed a takeout order for four people. The young lady who took our order was very nice and patient, and we were given an estimated wait time of 15–20 minutes. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told it would be another 20 minutes. Still, if the trade-off is hot, fresh food, you won’t hear me complain!

That said, we didn’t double-check the bag before leaving and ended up missing a couple of side items. Thankfully, the rest of the food was a hit! While the sides we did get could’ve used a bit more seasoning, they were still enjoyable. I had the maple bacon chicken breast and it was absolutely delicious—seasoned and cooked to perfection. 👌🏾

I also tried the strawberry lemonade, which was way too bitter for my liking. I had to doctor it up a bit to make it drinkable.

Overall, a pretty good experience! I’d definitely give them another shot.

Had a great waitress and she kept up with us even though she was busy. Food was delicious and good value for the money. Can never walk away hungry. I highly recommend them.
