Had to get some bbq on our trip south and this did not disappoint! I tried the pick 2 platter with ribs & pulled pork. Wish I would have went all ribs like my fiancé did - not that there was anything wrong with the pulled pork but the ribs were just that good! I got the sweet bbq sauce & my fiance got the original. He got beans and fries for sides and I got mac and cheese and onion petals. Will definitely come back if we’re in the area again!

My son has been obsessed with Hog N Bones ever since it was in Kingsland, GA, and he’s been trying to convince me to try it for ages. I finally gave in during a visit to the Waycross location—even though I’m not a big BBQ fan—and I’m so glad I did.
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The restaurant was immaculate, the air conditioning was a welcome break from the sweltering heat, and the staff greeted us with warm, friendly smiles. Even the bathroom was spotless (which always earns big points from me!).
Since BBQ isn’t really my thing, I ordered the chef salad with grilled chicken—and let me tell you, that chicken melted in my mouth. It was unbelievably tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. I literally did a happy dance in my seat while eating it. I’m officially hooked.
This isn’t just my son’s favorite spot anymore—it’s mine too. I will 100% drive an hour just to eat here again.

Loved this place! Ate here not long after they got power back from the hurricane.. everyone was super friendly the food was fresh and good and the restaurant was incredibly clean
Cost has went up food quantity has went down manager he laughed when I told a manger from corporate office small guy brown hair and mustache laughed at me know meat in pork sandwich more bread than meat pork is dry if you go to homerville u to the the red trailer bbq wagon they have a real sandwich when a manger laughed at me I thought they really don't care about nothing but the bottom line when people start walking out they will listen or will that be to late Jerry did not start thi business like this I have quit going to Jerry js they changed their menu drastically small portion high price no more home cooking sign is mis advertising please I enjoyed both places when they were new with old menus corporate food vendors are ruinning u please country is were it's at not not institutions food weres the pork P.S SIDES ARE GREAT

I love this place. The food and atmosphere is amazing. The employees are great they all greet you seem like they enjoy being at work. They are attentive not playing on their cell phones ignoring customers at the front counter. You get restaurant quality food in the same amount of time as fast food restaurants. The waiters and waitresses don't offer full service but you place your order when you come in and then they bring your food and clear your table and will get refills as well. The establishment and decor has a great design and quality you won't find anywhere else. The food is beyond reasonably priced compared to other BBQ chains. The smoked chicken is so amazing and tender. I prefer the original bbq sauce which a vinegar base. If you like bbq and southern cooking this is the place for you. I always prefer a health option when it comes to meat so I always get the 3 or 5 piece grilled tenders which is $7.99 for a 3 piece, one side, and some amazing bread. A half rack of ribs and a side is under $13 compared to Bonos bbq $25.
