My grandfather used to take me to this place when I was young, that was about 20 years ago and I can say this place went downhill. The other reviews are true, the boneless chicken comes with bones and feathers-- absolutely disgusting and they should definitely be visited by the health department or closed. You're better off going down to Carter's chicken in Blackshear close by if you want to eat local.

OMG my one of my drivers leaving told me about their shrimp basket and it is so worth it I bought stop by after my service today and bought a shrimp basket and had Hush Puppies biscuits that were also buttery delicious mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese the basket had the fantail shrimp in them I couldn't wait I started munching on the shrimp the hush puppies in the biscuits going home and I was almost in tears when they ran out as soon as they did because they were just so delicious and the service there was very friendly and very quick the Waycross Maryland Fried Chicken is the bomb and will definitely be getting more business from Blackshear Taxi Service.

I love their chicken but I pulled up at 7:35 pm FRIDAY night and they locked the door and wouldn't let me in. Said they were ABOUT to close!!! What restaurant closes before 8 pm on the weekend. I'm afraid I've eaten my last piece of MFC. It's a shame because the chicken is so good. But that was definitely my last trip. The owner needs to look into this. Carter's is now closed and that doesn't leave much choice if you're hungry for chicken. Sadly, I had to eat KFC. Definitely not my favorite but at least it was chicken. As far as the survey, I didn't dine in or take out. I WOULD have taken my order with me. I would have gotten dinner. Probably would have spent 30-40 dollars for the 2 of us. I would recommend the 2 piece with fries and their delicious coleslaw. Ah! The more I think about it the madder I get. I really wanted some yardbird..lol. Really gonna miss MFC!!

I heard that Maryland was under new management and decided to give the gizzard a try, hoping they would be better than before. I was sadly disappointed and disgusted. The gizzard are very small, the texture is off for gizzard, and they don't taste good at all. I wasted 5 dollars because I couldn't eat them. Not only were they unpleasant to eat, but they had feathers and what looked like bones on them. I lost my appetite and will not be going back for anything on their menu. The 2 stars are for the young ladies inside because they were nice.

I stopped at Marylands in Waycross ordered a 12 piece asked the waiter if I could have some small pieces for my grands.the waiter said ok but then this other waiter came to the window and said that they couldn't just sell me give small pieces for grands so I told her after I saw she had an attitude to just give me a 12 piece and mix it up with all or whatever she wanted to do. Her name was Tameka someone in my car knew her. I paid 36.00 and when I got home there was broken drumsticks, 1 or 2 brunt pieces and the Cole slaw was very stink and sour. I didn't have any words with her or anything. I will never order anything from Marylands again. She didn't know me and I don't know her. This can't give me more chicken in return.i don't trust it with people like her working there.
Waited 30 minutes on chicken for nothing I will never be back at this place I was trying to figure out why I was getting charged more than what my total was with my card and a manager that doesn’t like me canceled my whole order now I can’t get nothing else to

Last time I went I had my cousin Joe Cook aka Short many knew him over there in the cross. But we all from Nicholls. Our family put him to rest. And our onset uncle wanted Maryland and so did I. Aunt Betty favorite place to get chicken. Se went as a family. It's a great memory that I will carry that brings my family in to my mind. Cause there forever in my heart. Keep up the great work and food there yall the best..

An hour before they close and a long line behind us they were out of Breasts, Macaroni, mashed potatoes. The manager roller her eyes when we said they are always out of Macaroni and we wanted a 21 family order what were our options.. She said they close soon it was 2:30 they close at 4PM they opened at 11AM .. there is a 1/3 of your operating hours still left. The 4 times we have gone they have been out of Macaroni.. we ended up spending half of what we anticipated..
