The Food is very delicious the flavor of those oxtail was very delicious and those greens lord they was great ? that Red velvet cake was delicious also I give it A++ the food is great I highly recommend this soulfood place.

Everything was delicious and portions are huge! There is a long wait because there's only one cook but I highly recommend stopping by here if you have a taste for some real soul food!

The oxtails and rice with mac and cheese and yams with corn bread. Delicious and had enough for the next day for a wonderful lunch. I was envied at work with this meal. Thanks SugarKrystals

Been wanting to try this place for quite a while, just couldn't seem to find it open when we were passing by. Not what I was expecting. Service is from a cafeteria line; they dip the plates. You declare your meat choice, and the first server in line marks your box (a carry-out clamshell) with that selection and your name then passes it to the next server. This one places your two side selections (from a choice of about 12), covers the sides with a foil sheet, adds the cornbread, and passes the box to the meat packer. You pay the cashier, receive your box and drink cup (if you ordered one), and either sit to eat or leave to dine somewhere else. We got pork chops. Oh, yeah! Best choice: 2 huge meaty chops fried just right. They put the meal in a clamshell because they are confident you will carry something home; you will have leftovers. We did. Of course, we also got two big pieces of cake. I seldom ever do that, but it looked so good. It was. I can't speak concerning the restrooms but they really keep the serving line and dining area clean. We paid more than I expected but then we both got an extra side and cake. We should have settled for two sides (and no cake, I'm sure); two would have been enough. We'll be back soon, exercising a little more self-control. Maybe. The food is good, the place is clean, the folks are nice, friendly, warm, and caring.

Its the best place around Waycross to eat good cooked soul food. its always cooked hot and fresh and the desserts it out of this world good and make sure you try her lemonade its some of the best I've ever had. The owner is always so nice she makes sure she speaks an says hey to everyone that comes in
