This is a restaurant with the down to earth atmosphere that you would expect in rural georgia. The BBQ is excellent and delicious. Along with many sides that you can order with your meal. We have the chicken and pork ribs with the most delicious baked beans homemade by, one of the people that worked there and it was a family recipe. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you would like to have BBQ. On Sunday they close at 4 pm, So an early dinner if you're picking sunday, and they do have it to go.
Passing through Waycross and we looked up the best place for barbecue and we were not disappointed! Definitely try the loaded potato!

Our second time to eat at Uncle Wayne's was an experience! My wife ordered the T-Bone medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. I ordered the Rib Dinner with green beans and mac & cheese. The ribs were cooked perfectly also and the green beans were the best I've had in a long while. We were waited on right away and, by the way, the sweet tea was great. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable that we didn't want to leave...LOL. Their pulled pork is the best in town, the ribs are awesome, and the steaks are cooked perfectly (finished with butter). If you've never been to Uncle Wayne's, try it out. You won't be disappointed.

Our first time in Uncle Wayne's. Great food and service. Two patrons even spoke to us about the food and how good it is. Wings and steaks are going to be on our next visit.

I absolutely LOVED their ribs!!!!!. I was looking for a BBQ place to eat, search on Google, and found this place. The service was very good. Very welcoming place. I bought a "to go" dinner for me and my dad and he loved it as well. We are now spreading the word about this place. I am from out of town so it was good to know that are good bbq places like this one to eat in Waycross.

I ordered the loaded baked potato with pulled pork & a side of mac and cheese! The portion of the baked potato was absolutely huge & I had left overs/lunch for the next day!! The taste was so good and it was the softest baked potato that I’ve ever had!! The mac and cheese was absolutely delicious.. my only complaint was I didn’t order more!! I will definitely be back, the prices were reasonable and the service was phenomenal! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!

Food is wonderful and the service is excellent. Worth the drive from Homerville so give it a try.

Very hard for disabled person to get into. I understand it is a new business but needs better parking arrangements or drive thru area. Food was good, wish a dinner roll or toast had been included. Would like to see the business grow with improvements.

Hands down the best brisket I've ever had. You know it's good when you put your fork down and start stuffing your face.

Pulled pork and brisket were about the best if not the best we've ever had. Sides had a little something extra giving them a bump up from the norm. Service was good and our server was real nice. Some may find the atmosphere not to their standards, but that's what we love about authentic BBQ places. We saw a wide variety of clientel. This is a gem of a find and we have put it on our map for future trips through Waycross. And I am absolutely sure I talked with Uncle Wayne.
