I’m a truck driver. I had a layover so I decided to walk around to see what was around me. I noticed Newt’s Fried Chicken. It’s a small place but you can smell the flavor before you walk in. There was a small line but that’s a good sign. I ordered a 9 pc wing. Made to order. I didn’t realize that they were whole wings!! So I was happy when I opened the box. They are great sized wings, not too salty, and flavorful. Idk if they make their own hot sauce but it’s nothing that I’ve tasted before. It’s great as well.

The chicken wasn't as good as it was before. I drove all the way from Alabama what a waste! There was no seasoning on the chicken at all. That was my last $20 donation they will ever get from me. Whoever cooked it in earlier part of December. They neef to keep letting them cook it or train them how too. I'm so disappointed

The chicken fries and sauces here are amazing! I think the sauces may be made in house. I almost didn’t get a photo of the chicken because of how good it is. If I find myself at this exit again, I will most definitely be stopping off for more chicken! Thank you, guys!
