We were planning on eating there. It was $39.00 for 2 bottles of water, 2 large potatoes with butter, sour cream, ranch, & pork. Our food was brought out in togo boxes, togo silverware, in a bag. Figured that was our sign to go. We didn't stay to eat. One container was fine when we opened it, the other one spilled out in the bag. The food was ok.

Got the brisket dinner, best BBQ I've had outside of south Texas of any of the places I've been! Meat was tender and moist, not riddled with fat, just a thin line at top just enough to add flavor and hold some seasoning. I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce by itself, kinda like a Kansas City kind of sauce, too sweet for me, but add it to the brisket, and something wonderful happens! The two complement each other and your wondering where'd all the sauce go? The green beans and collard greens were very good as well seasoned, a little spicy, nothing bad but enough to add depth to the flavor. Honestly I'm looking forward to going back when I'm back down here again! And this time I'll take pictures!

Five Stars for an excellent BBQ pork sandwich, fries and a drink for $9.99 at lunch. I have eaten bbq at hundreds of places and their pork is smoked perfectly and has great “bark”. They have recently added back a seating area with cell phone charging and good WiFi (you have to search for the wifi “Restaurant Guest” as it is hidden). Parking is only on the south side of the building (see “J’s Parking” signs). Michelle will take your order at the counter, and she is wonderful. Enjoy!

Discovered his restaurant a few months ago and I have become a regular. I have business in the area so after passing the sign a few tubes I decided to give them a try. The food is top tier. I have had the ribs and brisket as well as the collard greens, baked beans & potato salad. Wonderful food, additionally the owner & staff are extremely friendly and even provided samples of the sides before I purchased to help me make a decision. I’ve been back several times. Top tier all the way around the board every visit.
