We decided to try something different from the usual gas station stops on a road trip. This was a treat. The outdoor area was pleasantly cool in the shade, had a fun music playlist and the staff was great. A great vibe. Worth the stop!

This is a totally unique place. The barbecue is excellent. It has the right amount of smoke flavor and the spicy sauce is so flavorful and homemade. Your dog is always welcome which is a nice perk. Captain Stan makes homemade doggy treats! So bring Fido and enjoy before Captain Stan retires!

What an amazing experience with outdoor seating, delicious bbq and friendly staff. Everything is quirky, old and eclectic but fits together so well. We have been many times over the past 15 years and will always stop on a trip between MA and FL.
