Enjoyed lunch as a family of 4 (with 3 year-old twins) at the Blackbird Cafe. Theme is fun and rustic, and provides for a cool atmosphere. Food was tasty and fresh/hot when served. Had Sandtown Club with fries, and wife had BLT with fries. Both were good and tasted fresh. Kids menu offers about 6 options, which is more than some other restaurants. Staff was very friendly and stayed attentive the whole meal! Was a fun lunch stop, and would definitely stop there again!

came in got sat waited 15-20min some more people came in within this time and got there drinks taken and brought out order taken and were all still sitting with no drinks or anything waiting walked out and all the servers were on there phones doing nothing felt like a unreal experience felt fake like it was for a movie, highly wouldnt recommend.

Today I took my 1 year old daughter up to black bird for lunch we had went to see my brother/her uncle who’s a server. It started out amazing per usual because he always makes it a good experience but then it went south when the manager was verbally rude to him. I then said that she was being rude and later on she had threatened me while I was holding my daughter. Excellent server Ethan poor and unprofessional manager Melissa

I was here about 3 years ago and food was really good. Not the same now. I ordered Ribeye (medium) with grilled vegetables. The steak came out and was overcooked and like chewing jerky, very tough. The vegetables were undercooked and burnt from the grill. I asked for my check 2 minutes after food was delivered and the server asked if I wanted a to-go box. Um, NO. But not once did she ask me if there was anything wrong. So basically, I wasted $40. I won't be back.

Its very misleading that the Sandtown Club is served hot, it's not a Monte Crisco. You should totally put that on the menu or give an option. Getting it home nice and hot, soggy, wet hot lettuce...it's inedible and a waste of money.
